Ment, come up with something that a common mortal like me could figure out...

That's it, now all HeroesWorld players are destined for success after Revan's advice

Toksi, just tell me what you want right away, I'm skipping this.

What if I were to visit your expansion and bring along our integrals and derivatives? Not just for fun, of course, but to calculate character stats...

Yashchur, but your recent posts in this thread haven't contributed anything to solving the puzzle, and there's been much more off-topic chatter than from others...

Okay, I found a list of questions from the Kyiv 2015 youth championship. This is a special tournament for me, as it was here that my current team took shape and reached a new level...

Please, let's not just Google it, because it's all very easy and quick to find: that wouldn't be interesting.

And yes, to avoid repetition, I'll probably only include one version per person. If needed, I'll give another attempt =)

In pre-Petrine Russia, polyphonic singing was not widespread, but later about 20 chants dedicated to the Battle of Poltava appeared. According to the researcher, the source of these changes was the capture of a person born in 1682 during the battle. Name this person with two words, both starting with the same letter.

What if I just pop in to your expansion with our integrals and derivatives combined?:smile04::smile04::smile04: Not just for fun, of course, but to calculate the character stats...:D

Your heart will stop from an excess of percentages in your blood.

And yes, to avoid overdoing it, perhaps there will be only one version per person. If it gets tough, I'll give another attempt. =)

Come on, what about a brainstorming session? )
However, I can't come up with a version right away.

Well, if things get tough, you can discuss it together. =)

Well, basically, who could have been captured? The young king of Sweden, right? "The War of the Children," and all that? Or was he even younger, born before 1682, I don't remember.
To describe this person with words, it seems we need to mention something other than his name, probably? A nickname? His profession? His position?
Why wasn't there much polyphonic singing? I thought there was polyphonic church singing; it should have come from Greek singing. Although I might be wrong... Anyway, why did it appear? Maybe they were lamenting the capture of the Swedish king?
We should discuss this, I think. Otherwise, they're discussing it over there, and we're supposed to be playing a super-fast game...

Discuss!

Okay, let's think about it. If he was born in 1782, then the battle in which he was captured must have taken place sometime around 1800. Most likely, it was during the reign of Peter the Great (but, of course, Peter the Great is incorrect, as he was never captured).
What battles were there – the Great Northern War, Azov, and something else, I don't remember anymore.
Mazepa, Khmelnytsky – I don't remember anymore who of them was active during that period and who wasn't. But most likely, it's not them.
There was also Charles XII, he was indeed captured; Ment remembers, but I don't remember his name, other than "the conqueror."
And what does choral singing have to do with it? Perhaps it was some kind of church figure, but then I can't name him.
Although, there it is, it clearly states that it's about the Battle of Poltava, and the other wars are irrelevant.

Let's assume that this Vasya was captured and began teaching choral singing.
The traitor of Poltava (if we assume that we shouldn't name him by name – it's completely off).

Let's say it was King Charles – as a version in my favor.

If the wording is unclear, the battle in which he was captured was, in fact, the Battle of Poltava.

Maybe some kind of **court bard**. And King Charles, together with the hetman, engaged in a duel.
