I'm lucky in this tournament, I won't deny it (just don't want to jinx it :)). I got a red castle for 1600+800, so with the bonus included, they actually paid me 600. The surrender was contradictory; in the early days, I thought about taking a restart every turn, considering my opponent stubbornly refused to. Second Müllich and on the respawn, 3 hives with simple guards. But the starting army was 15 archers with scouting; if even one of the crypts taken by scout heroes had been maxed, I'd have been left with no army at all. However, 114 all questions were settled; the tavern was graced by the famous former Norwegian goal scorer Ole "Gunnar" Solskjær for a pint of dark unfiltered ale. Until the end of the week, I just gather resources to the max and build knights in the Citadel. 117 Gunnar is in an external tavern near one of the hives. All hives turn out to be minis, which is disappointing. Exiting the Conservatory respawn — also a mini, starting to get annoying. Deep in the respawn (about 3 turns away from stables) there was another Conservatory and boots behind a general guard of 5–9 bone dragons, but I never got around to it before the game ended. 123 I took the Conflux of the opponent, started building a mage guild there, temporarily giving up on angels. I took both central villages. 125 I broke into the treasure zone, found a couple more hives, a library, a Dragon Utopia. I planned to take that Dragon Utopia with growth at 131. I really didn't want to go in with just 1 angel, 4 champions (1 was killed somewhere), and 26 ducks without growth reduction. But at 126, Deesa appears in the center and takes both central villages (1 turn between them via scout hero teleports). I readjust to cover Deesa, but my scout hero falls 1 step short on the road to the village where I wanted to buy back the defeated Gunnar. I have to have Gunnar spend the night in a teleport. The chains were a bit crooked; I definitely needed to collect more resources, and at 131 Gunnar doesn't make it to the Dragon Utopia near the central village. He spends the night there, nervously watching to see if the Dragon Utopia (which ultimately decided the game) gets snatched from under his nose. It wasn't taken. 132 I go into the Dragon Utopia and realize that Deesa, without battle stats and with his army, even with Resurrection, would have been left behind here. Maxed. My battle stats are around 11–12, Mass Shield, Mass Skin. An angel, 27 Wyverns, 8 champions, a bunch of various growth reduction. Quick combat showed a loss without killing a single black (sorry, Afrodragon!). My magic and lucky morale at the right moment do their job; I come out with an angel and 25 Wyverns. They gave me truly royal rewards: +12 sword, +12 shield, +4+4 breastplate, КЗ. I return to Conflux, where the level 5 mage guild had Summon Earth Elemental, now unnecessary. I track the blue player's movements through scouts. 133 I take a Dragon Utopia in the treasure zone, get wings, a bag of gold, and resistance boots; I build an angel (so my scout hero on it with stables can reach a distant hive). 134 I rebuild the mage guild, get Dimension Door, and make what seemed like a fatal mistake. I hadn't seen Vitaliy's Air Magic control until that moment, and there it was. He took both my villages again, and Gunnar is literally sitting in a turn in Conflux on an angel with all the artifacts. I gave the Wyverns to a scout hero to pick up various Nagash items on the Conflux respawn... And I didn't even guard properly. But I got lucky; Vitaliy went for another Dragon Utopia, which gave him junk. On my turn, I cover him with vastly superior stats, kill a lot, lose almost nothing, and he surrenders. Then Gunnar took the capital, and then through 2 Dimension Doors with grounded Wyverns (one of the villages was swamp), I covered Deesa in the opponent's Inferno. Thanks for the game!
