This is a Campaign; you can only complete the mission with a script, and only for testing purposes.
The third scenario in this Campaign can only be started properly if you play the Campaign, not the scenarios individually.

Because you are not playing the Campaign; you launched the scenario separately.

Why are they annoying to you? Read them – there is nothing terrible there. "without army" gives the heroes a starting army. "warnings" are a consequence of the libhomm3 library. They do not interfere with anything in any way. The script error on the third map is because the required hero for the transition is missing, because you launched the scenario separately.
Relax and play, or don't play. :) The Campaign was tested not only by me but also by MasteR, who only complained that it was too easy.)
I played the "m" version of the game and completed it in 204 days (I received the Arcan dragon). In my opinion, the first two missions completely lack intrigue (except perhaps in battles with neutral creatures). The finale turned out to be much more interesting and challenging. I played as a dwarf and struggled to defend myself against enemies for the first month or two. The most difficult battles were against the orcs (almost all of them were level 25 with devastating attack and defense). In the final map, I really missed a mentor and magic schools. Nevertheless, thank you to the author for their work.

No. In campaigns, the races are usually fixed, and you cannot choose them. However, in the third scenario, you will be able to choose one side or another.

These campaigns are connected by the plot of The Restoration of Erathia from the third Heroes game and are their reincarnation in the fifth part. You can play these three campaigns that you listed in any order. However, I still recommend playing the campaigns in the order of their release.
