and now, the main question (in this post): is the 5th stage still planned? Or can we hope for something better?
The map for the fifth stage is in development. It will start in a week and be completed by the 20th... Then, we'll have the final results, discussions, and possibly a small vote on which map generated the most interest – it won't hurt the organizers to know and understand the players' tastes... That's all for now.
After that, we'll take a short break... And then we'll see. Because we need fresh ideas for new challenges... The supply of ideas isn't unlimited... :) It also depends on you...
and now, the main question (in this post): are there still plans for 5 stages? or can we hope for something better?
Yes, there will be five stages, followed by a break of approximately one month. And in August, we will hold a full-fledged tournament. It will be, so to speak, a warm-up before the eighth stage of Van Kanegem... And on September 1st, the eighth stage of Van Kanegem will start; it will be dedicated to Heroes 3.
So, this is the official tournament schedule for offline Heroes 3 tournaments for the near future.
Sincerely.
to AmberSoler: and how did you manage to answer faster than me... :D

If you look closely, you'll see that I wrote =approximately 23115. This implies what I mentioned in post 511.

Here's an excerpt from the rules of the 3rd stage of the King's Bounty tournament.
It is forbidden: to buy back your dismissed heroes on the same day (i.e., to use the "dismissal-buyback" tactic); it is also forbidden to buy heroes who died in battle (do not confuse with those who fled)!
I thought we were taking into account the experience of previous tournaments.
Yeah... I guess I didn't explain it very well... Here's what I saw as the "mistake": 23095 + !22!=23117, not 23115 as you claimed... ;) I hope it's not a big deal.
They already told you that:
In total, +22. 23095+22= approximately 23115. I subtracted for shrinkage and wear.
These two skeletons have shrunk... :D

It is forbidden to re-hire your dismissed heroes on the same day (i.e., to use the "dismissal-re-hire" tactic); it is also forbidden to hire heroes who died in battle (do not confuse with those who fled)!
We are not talking about the opponent's heroes at all. It was never forbidden to hire them. You cannot hire your own deceased heroes. You can hire other people's heroes as many as you want and whenever you want...
To Kyle. Here is an excerpt from the rules of stage 3 of the VK tournament.

I thought that we were taking into account the experience of previous tournaments. It's no wonder I was surprised when I learned about the possibility of buying back defeated enemy heroes. What do you say?
I will say that you need to read message No. 494 more carefully. It says that there was no such ban in this particular tournament.. :D
Thank you for your help!!!!
You are welcome... :smile01:

Once again, the issue of dismissing and subsequently re-hiring heroes during the current tournament arises. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to explain in detail (again?) where this stems from and why this problem exists:
1. The ban on re-hiring a hero on the day of dismissal is solely due to tournament organizers simply trying to make their lives easier. In essence, you can hire a hero, but you can't use him. This is because there is a bug that allows for infinite movement. But how do you check from a save file whether a hero has moved or not? If he is in a tavern with movement points remaining, but it is unknown whether he has full movement points or not...
This is why a ban on hiring a hero in general was introduced. Although this is not entirely fair to the gameplay – this is my purely personal opinion – sometimes this hero is simply necessary because he may have useful artifacts, for example. Hiring a hero and taking artifacts from him does not contradict common sense. But to date, this tactic is prohibited to avoid confusion and disputes.
2. On the next day, you can hire a hero who was dismissed earlier. All bans are lifted.
3. If your hero was destroyed in a fair fight, he can no longer appear in the game. You lose – you are out. No one has forbidden you to flee the battlefield or bribe your way out. But if the opponent has captured him (and why would War Shackles be needed in that case?), then that's it. Period. However, the opponent has every right to hire your hero. He has earned this right – he is the winner.
4. The opposite is also true. If you managed to destroy the opponent's hero, you have the right to take him into your service. And moreover – on the same day! Why doesn't the infinite movement bug occur here, even if the opponent's hero moved that day? Because he did not perform any tasks for the benefit of your kingdom. The bug is not that the hero moves for a long time, but that he does many useful things for you during his infinite movement. This is what should be prevented. And since he was working for the opponent, you will not benefit from it, and you can safely, without violating the logic of the game, hire him on the same day into your army.
Therefore:
1. Hiring a dismissed hero on the day of dismissal is prohibited. On any other day – it is allowed.
2. Hiring a hero who fled (or bribed his way out) on the same day is allowed.
3. Re-hiring your deceased hero is prohibited.
4. Hiring the deceased hero of the opponent is allowed at any time.
This is my opinion, and it applies within the Blitz Tournament. I just wanted to share this information.
I ask those who like to argue not to bother :)

Dear Kule, in the 4th stage, when building a boat, you cannot board it at the shipyard! Please fix this annoying bug!
This is not an annoying bug.
This is a deliberately implemented author's idea... :)
Now everything is perfectly clear.
After all, when "creating" rules, you need to think about the "other person" as well, i.e., explain everything in detail. Let it be very detailed, but it will pay off by eliminating misunderstandings. It's no secret that a great many of them have accumulated recently, even if half of them are either made up or due to inattention.

I agree. Let's ask the tournament organizer to add this point to the rules in the above-mentioned wording – to avoid repeated controversial moments in the future.
Dear tournament participant, I have a request for you: Please discuss the rules in the thread specifically created for this purpose: TOURNAMENT MATTERS! Please avoid off-topic discussions in this thread.
To Radik: Your posts have been moved to the above-mentioned thread. I hope you understand.
Sincerely.

Well, I messed up big time at this stage((( and I wasted so much because I got carried away and created 5 stacks of dragons, each with a hundred units... and one of them broke free from my control and decided to win the battle on its own:)
Then it's clear. Just one suggestion: next time, keep them on a leash so they know who's in charge!:) And you said it so well...

Yes, AmberSoler knows how to tease anyone and everyone! But nothing, I hope you'll understand...

I just watched the map for the 4th blitz, and I think there won't be enough identical results here either (unlike the 2nd stage). The map is excellent; I feel like we'll have to work just as hard, if not more, than in the third stage:D. AmberSoler, respect:smile20:

Well, I wouldn't say that... After all, a small walk "along the forest paths" (c) is much more pleasant than jostling among skeletons - here there is a breeze, the sun is shining, and you can swim again... This is for those who don't have enough of just one boat... :)
Of course, many will get blisters on this journey, but that's not scary... :)
A small note during the tournament: while testing the map for the fourth stage, I noticed one feature - periodically there was a situation where some heroes completely refused to appear in the tavern. In particular, Pyre and Luna are not appearing for me right now. I don't know what this unpleasant moment is connected with, but it is a fact. I might have to start the Walkthrough again to fix this. So, if anyone else encounters the same problem, keep in mind that you are not alone... :) But, that will make the finish even more fun. Because there are more than enough heroes on the map.
I will immediately announce the next stage - five heroes, five small battles, and as always, a knife at the finish... Will there be a player who will be the complete holder of the Blade of Armageddon after the Blitz is over? This, by the way, depends exclusively on the fourth stage. So don't get too relaxed... :)
