Sigh! I just have to write about my cat Polinka! To be honest, at first I didn't like her very much because of her coloring: black on top, white on the bottom, and she was quite plump, just lying and lying on the sofa. But with each passing day, I liked her more and more and more, and now I simply can't go without visiting my parents every day for about 2.5-3 hours to pet her and play with her. This cat turned out to be... well, some kind of wonder!.. You have to see it... And by the way, back then we thought it was a tomcat and wanted to name him Athos first, then, taking into account his thickness - Porthos, but later, when we found out it was a female cat, we named her Polinka! I simply can't go without chatting and playing with my little kitty every day! Oh, she is a terrible beast!!! Here she is. (Click on the photo to open a larger one).

My sister found her right at the beginning of November before the frosts. She was wandering at the bus stop from which my sister was about to leave, and at the last moment when she already had to get on the bus, she grabbed her and brought her home!!! At first, she just lay on the sofa and purred when petted; by the way, she purrs very, very loudly, like some kind of tractor... The cat also turned out to be very smart and cunning. We brought her into the kitchen, and she started walking around us, and we realized that she needed something, she wanted something, but we had already given her food and milk. It turned out that she wanted to get onto the table, and here is how it happened: she walks around, rubs against us—it's obvious she wants something—and eventually we figured out that she wanted to be put on a stool. We put her there, and she just jumped up onto the kitchen table!!! And you can't even punish her—we were the ones who put her there! With difficulty, over several weeks, we came to an agreement that she should go to the bathroom in the bathroom (we set up a box for her there), not wherever she felt like. But once we reached an agreement with the kitty, there have been no more problems with this. And at first, we honestly bought all sorts of litter and changed it, but now we've given up. We shred newspapers into the box instead of litter, although we change everything twice a day. The kitty wakes up at 5 o'clock in the morning and, naturally, finds it strange that everyone is still lying there sleeping. She starts waking
everyone she can wake by tickling them with her whiskers, batting their heads with her paws, and maybe even letting out her claws... We found her at the end of November while the weather was still warm, and she came up with this way to wake everyone up. She climbed through the window onto the balcony and started racing around there like crazy. Moreover, if you haven't seen her before, hearing how she races and knocks everything over on the balcony, you might think that it's not a small kitty running there, but a horse...
Previously, she loved to climb into a gap in the kitchen and sit there. Once, she confused the gaps and jumped into a smaller one and got stuck halfway... then she popped out and jumped into the right gap...
Sometimes she wants to go for a walk on the balcony. And she sits there in one spot that we specially cleared for her like a statuette...
She eats boiled pollock fish. When there isn't much fish, she might also eat some Whiskas. Well, generally judging by the amount of food she consumes, it also seems like this is a much larger animal...
A few days after New Year's. She started rolling around in the hallway and screaming... It was clear that she needed a mate. I took her outside and she stayed there for 2 weeks. There were no tomcats around the house; a female cat was pulled out of the basement in a very pitiful state, fortunately, it seemed she hadn't eaten anything at all for two weeks and had lost a lot of weight. So mom turned her on her side and pulled her out of the basement by her front paws through the gap under the door... The next day they bathed her and gave her some drops that made her vomit, but we had already arranged with acquaintances who had a tomcat, and so in the beginning of the second third of February she went into heat again. On the first day they gave her the drops, but they didn't help a bit; on the second day she started following us and screaming (by the way, she screamed all night too). Her back paws and tail started to shake... We put her in a bag and took her to the tomcat!
One of her eyebrows is white, the other is black
and so against the black fur it seems as if it's not there.
She was very afraid to travel and tried to climb out of the bag. Sometimes she hid entirely in the bag.
The tomcat turned out to be great and also very smart and affectionate. Moreover, after just two minutes we realized that bringing her to such a cat was not in vain. By the way, the kitty is quite old, 14 years... but who would have thought, after how she shook her paws and rolled around the hallway screaming at home, that upon meeting him she would puff up and sit there and not let him near her... The tomcat's name, by the way, is Timofey.

Well, the first day she was difficult, the second less so, and on the third day something started at Aunt Olya's!!! And this could start anywhere (wherever the cat caught her) and at any time of day... They were doing it everywhere, even on Aunt Olya and Grandma; at night they did it and ran over them... and as for how Polinka can scream, I personally saw that when we picked her up. I saw how the cat caught her in the hallway and they started mating, and after two minutes I heard her screaming heart-wrenchingly from the room. It was awful; mom and I were even scared.
No, it's hard to imagine that a small cat could scream like that. And it went on at Aunt Olya's for a whole week... including at night...
Here are some more photos. These are the ones I took when we picked her up.

The tomcat was, of course, very upset when we took her away. But when we brought her home, she was very, very happy and started purring. And now it seems she will have kittens.
The cat is also very playful. She brings her toy—foil on a string—and simply demands that someone play with her. When she catches it and I give it back to her, she carries it into another room in her teeth like a little dog and lies there guarding her toy.
She chases after it over everything in her path: over armchairs, sofas, cabinets, carpets, etc. She also loves being chased and caught, while she runs away and hides. How could you not chase such a cat... Also, she loves to eat, especially lately she's started eating a lot, although strangely enough she lost weight... Moreover, even when mom feeds her very well, she comes to me and pretends to be a poor, miserable kitty—asking for fish. When she gets worked up and you start petting her at that time, she might slightly sink in her teeth or claws, and they are sharp... But overall she is very affectionate and silky like a mink. I didn't think I would like a cat (not even a tomcat, but a female!) so much! A wonderful, cheeky, pampered kitty...
Asking to go into the hallway. I photographed her before letting her out.
