But, of course, it's even more enjoyable to observe the world of evolved animals, how amusingly it's arranged. Office hamsters running in formation to work among huge rhinoceros police officers, various districts with diverse climates – winter, rainy jungles, desert, and so on, even a criminal world exists here. References, jokes, Disney dramas, confessions, empathy, all in a family-friendly way. I liked it; it was well made.

I saw the trailer about a hundred years ago, and I downloaded it then, and at first glance, it seemed like the movie should be good. But I didn't watch it. And now I watched it, and I wasn't expecting anything impressive from the movie. In reality, it turned out to be very cool, well-shot, the scenes are nicely staged, the music is just right, mom, look, I'm a film critic, yeeeee. A cozy movie, there's something in it besides jokes, action, and the plot (which isn't really there). Well, okay, there is, but it's so watery, its role didn't seem that important to me. I also watched Zootopia (guys, thanks for banning Rutracker, you're the best! Yes, it's a cool cartoon, the title was translated a bit poorly, they lost the play on words, but whatever. The film thoroughly debunked rampant racism and nationalism (that's how! Beat them! I hate racists and social intolerance!! Ugh!!). And in general, yes, there are parodies, jokes. And also, all sorts of interesting theories arise about how such a strange society came about. Yes, I understand that this is a children's cartoon, but since it raises such adult problems, I can't rule out that there is a clever subtext. 8/10
Lady and the Tramp 2. I watched it yesterday on Disney, right after the first part... It boosted Trump's popularity. Well, in general, after the first part, it's not particularly good, as is often the case; the grass used to be greener. Literally. The grass really was greener, better drawn, and the shadows were more saturated. As was everything else in the cartoon. The picture and animation got worse, the plot became more banal, the motivations and characters more contrived, the music is boring... You know how it all happens. And yet, I can't say that it's completely unwatchable. Maybe, if there hadn't been the example of the first part, the second one would have been good... As far as I know, it's a cartoon based on a comic I haven't read. But I decided to watch it anyway because I can.
+ Interesting, unusual style—I think it carried over from the original comic. A plot that claims originality and almost doesn't fit into the scheme provided above.
- It seemed a bit boring to me; the characters didn't click.
= A sweet, cozy school story that's pleasant to watch with the whole family. The art is an acquired taste. Those familiar with the source material might have a different impression, from "woohoo, they captured the spirit of the comic perfectly" to "it sucks, they ruined everything." It didn't grab me, but I don't regret watching it. 6/10.



A cartoon purely for laughs, not claiming to be anything more. Milking the franchise, but it'll do, and the penguins are the best characters of the original movie. Clowns, of course, but these clowns are to my taste, unlike all those "made by Disney" show-offs.
+ It succeeded in being funny. Lots of mockery and self-mockery; the humor isn't very intellectual, but it's not obnoxious or completely stupid.
- I would have liked a more successful development of some characters.

I don't know why, but I like this cartoon. Dynamic, sweet, and funny.
+ There are many characters, but they are written confidently and there is no confusion. A successful move to duplicate ГГ's relationships in the "snail" and "human" worlds. The ending is expected, but it's done great and I like it.
- Characters are well-written, but there are too many of them. The theme of establishing relationships between ГГ and his new company isn't very well developed; one race doesn't really develop this theme, in my opinion.
= A decent cartoon. Strange, but good. The plot above is played out almost by the book, but presented successfully enough, in my view. 7/10.




To give you an idea, I'm talking about all four cartoons: "Cars", "Cars 2", "Planes", and "Planes: Fire & Rescue", since for me they are made at roughly the same level. I'm shocked, but I like this franchise, even though I don't really love machinery and racing.
+ Pleasant characters, a successful and funny "car-ification" of the world. Even second- and third-tier characters are well-written and generally aren't irritating (Mater and own same as Chupacabra honestly tried, but failed). It's funny, though not offensive, how they poke fun at different nationalities. The second Planes touched on the theme of real heroes who save real people, and presented it in a way that I didn't fall asleep. Also, AC/DC's Thunderstruck sounds fully or almost fully in this movie—one of my favorite songs of theirs.
- Buy our toys! Buy our toys! Just buy them already, will you? While watching, of course, it isn't felt, but such a thought arises when you start seriously thinking about the world of sentient machinery.
= A very cool cartoon that, in my eyes, managed to stay at one level throughout four feature films. Pass. 9/10.



A very decent cartoon, one of my favorites among Dreamworks.
+ To my taste, a very successful design for ГГ (or ГЗ, lol) and his buddy. Characters are well-written and likable. The movie is simultaneously funny and touching. Snippets of AC/DC's Highway To Hell and Back In Black appeared as the soundtrack.
- How do you go from supervillain to superhero? Do everything wrong, then put it back how it was. I can't stop laughing at the overall logic of the plot and the logic of 95% of the characters' actions. The details are great, but the big picture, lol... "Wreck-It Ralph" suffers from similar logic, though he at least saved a princess from a neighboring machine.
= A cool, mocking cartoon with decent characters, sweet and funny. As for the narrative logic—do not try to accept, understand, or repeat it at home; put your brain on a shelf, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show. 9/10.

I'm watching it because of the Cambodian landscapes. The scenery is 20/10, and the cinematographers and editors did a good job. The film is 6/10; if I were to rewatch it, it would only be for Angelina and the scenery.

It's time to watch some silly cartoons; silly cartoons won't watch themselves.



Another cliché, but funny cartoon.
+ References to Star Trek, a funny take on old horror movies, the characters are quite cute, overall it's funny.
- But somehow it's not that great. Perhaps the disproportion between the size of the main character and the other participants in the fun is doing its job.
= Cute, funny, watchable, but not amazing. 7/10.



When it comes to Pixar, I like it, especially since Disney has given them my favorite franchises instead of cliché princess stories and overly childish Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
+ Pleasant characters, funny, overall it looks quite good, although not without its quirks.
- As with the previous point, it's good, but not amazing.
= A cool superhero movie to watch once or twice. 8/10.

+ Successful monster designs – something that is almost completely absent in the "Monster High" franchise (yes, I tried watching it hoping for a continuation of the feast started by "Transylvania," but I got a vanilla teen comedy and "buy our toys"). Quite nice vampire designs, there are occasionally funny jokes, the characters are generally more pleasant than not.
- Some of the characters have unsuccessful designs (for example, I don't like the werewolf, mummy, and Frankenstein's monster, but the invisible man is cool), there are some silly things, jokes below the belt, and other crude humor.
= It's very suitable for bored teenagers and adults, as it touches on the important theme of fathers and children, and overall it's quite funny. Not for kids, though; the crude humor is one thing, but there are also scary scenes and characters. 7/10.

= At best, it's worth watching once. I've seen worse cartoons, this one is just boring, but at least it didn't make me want to facepalm, like some others did. 4/10.

I watched it a long time ago, and I won't rewatch it unless I go completely crazy. I don't like Disney for its clichés, completely unappealing songs, and annoying clowns (like Timon and Pumbaa and the Genie), but overall its cartoons are at least watchable and maintain a certain standard. As it turns out, even the old can fail.
+ Um... Well... Hmm... Aliens? Maybe a couple of good lines of dialogue? Some funny moments? The fact that I was able to watch it to the end?
- Unsuccessful characters, both in terms of their overall appearance and design (they, of course, are not supposed to look good, but the "terrible, scary monsters" in the cartoons above looked pretty good, and some were even cute, while still remaining creepy and scary), a rather boring plot, I facepalmed several times and only watched it to the end because I could.
= Far from the best cartoon. In my opinion, it's probably even one of the worst, if not the worst, that I've seen. I won't ask you to make me unsee it, or I might watch it again. 1/10.

I just watched what is arguably the best Pixar movie, the best Disney movie, and at least one of the best animated movies in the world (one of them, because we shouldn't forget "Treasure Island" by Kyivnauchfilm, which I grew up with, although I think these are different things and they can't be compared).
+ The plot, the characters, the way the story is presented, the themes, the reflections on the fate of humanity, the dystopia, the space, the robots – even the mere existence of this movie is a plus.
- You could nitpick, but I don't want to. The movie is perfect. I'll complain a little about the localization, where for some reason half of the inscriptions were translated, and the other half were not.
= A masterpiece of world cinema that everyone should see. You didn't understand – EVERYONE MUST SEE IT. Go watch it now. The movie is unconventional not only by Disney standards, but it's also quite unusual in general, very sweet, touching, and beautiful; I even shed a tear in some moments. It's an incredibly great thing, it's self-sufficient, it doesn't need sequels, prequels, or sidequels that would ruin everything. I can't put into words how amazing it is, but it's a masterpiece of world animation that I'm watching for the third time and I'm still endlessly delighted. You've missed out on a lot if you haven't seen it. Wonderful, magnificent, simply perfect. Ten out of ten. 146/10. Endless delight, love, and adoration.

Dofus - Book 1: Julith
After the relatively mediocre Wakfu OVA, as well as the cute and somewhat childish "Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim" series, I didn't expect anything too special... But in reality, the film captivated me from the very first minutes. Very interesting characters (although many of the characters are old, but I saw them in a slightly new light), a pompous story... Funny jokes, well, that's normal for Ankama. Returning to the characters, what turned out to be important here was that they behave quite naturally, which is not so common... The motivations are quite well-developed. 10/10
P.S. The post-credits scene is a must-watch.

It's not "relatively mediocre"; it took only the worst aspects of the series and amplified them. Not that the original series had anything particularly good about it, except for Nox, dynamic battles, and the artwork.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it is. The only thing that somewhat justified it in my eyes was the children of Grovi and Eve; without them, it would have been unwatchable.

They just made the whole thing even less enjoyable to watch. I was also amused by how Tristeplin, in front of his children, killed a group of people and didn't even flinch.
