I would really like to know your opinion on this matter, because I personally am tired of seeing young people in my city wearing t-shirts of bands like Amatory, Slipknot, Murderdolls, and the like. Is true metal really dead...? On the one hand, Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne are coming to town, but on the other hand, Daron Malakian and his band of misfits are coming at the same time. Manowar did come on April 7th, but those who were there know that they haven't been putting in the effort for a long time. The same goes for Aria, which is now just a commercial project aimed at making money. Only Master and Epidemia (in my opinion, this is still fantasy metal), which is now working on their second album, still bring joy. All that's left is to remember the times of Black Obelisk, Corrosion of Metal (before the album Sadism, when they didn't become national socialists), Black Coffee, Judas Priest, Motörhead, AC/DC, and others... P.S. Can anyone explain what's going on with Nightwish? Did the vocalist leave? P.P.S. And does anyone listen to KRUGER? "... Heavy Metal is more than a religion, it's the only way to live!! Listen to what you like and don't overthink such nonsense. :) Personally, I listen to electronic music, but judging by the inscriptions on t-shirts, electronic music doesn't even exist.

You didn't quite understand what we were talking about. I said that if you judge by the inscriptions on t-shirts, then electronic music doesn't exist at all. Krueger then said that he saw someone wearing a Scooter t-shirt. That's all.

P.S. And Scooter has several tracks that are a mix of techno and metal :D

That's right, there are still many of them in Nizhny! I hang out with them in the aforementioned place.

Maybe it's because people believe in fairy tales less and less, or maybe it's because (metal) can be consumed, but we're not looking for it in the right place. It's just some nonsense.

When it comes to hairstyles, they're also "metalheads," but of the black metal variety (like Cradle of Filth, Hypocrisy, Abyss, etc.). The music isn't bad, but the lyrics... Anyway, judging by your feedback, metal is alive and well! I'm very happy about that, and I'd like to have a beer with you. Anyone live near Moscow? We could arrange something. Also, I'm looking for a bassist; does anyone happen to know one?
