I don't have much online experience, but I'll try to offer some advice...
There's no point in going for Dragons and level 7 creatures on Sanctuary. Instead, build a group of Archers and a group of Unique creatures.
Then, gather as many resources and artifacts as possible. Ultimately, with Angels, Vivians, and Archers, you can attack your opponent.

Anophele, typically by the second week, you need to gather all the best stuff from the spawn - Hives, Griffin Conservatories, and move to the treasure zone. There, fill your stack with ducks, already take Dragon Utopias, etc. And building dragons is indeed rare. If their external dwelling is there, that's a different matter. Because unupgraded ones are garbage, while upgraded ones are expensive. And unlike angels from the conservatories, there's nothing to reinforce their stack with.

I disagree. Rampart is quite capable of holding its own!
