Posts from Satellite tournament #2 for CIS-2016 in St. Petersburg.
We are currently assessing the demand. Please indicate your interest in participating in this satellite tournament and winning a spot for 1500 rubles in the main event of the year – CIS-2016 in St. Petersburg from May 1st to May 7th, 2016.
The rules and all other details will be the same as in Satellite #1. The start will be scheduled once we have enough participants (minimum 12 people).
1). Lizard
2). Amiloo
3). FireToSky
FireToSky has already paid the entry fee without any preconditions and did so faster than many others, so I don't think I have the right to impose any additional restrictions on him. Therefore, the initial condition remains in effect: the winner receives an accommodation package that cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for a cash prize, meaning that in the event of a win, Ivan will be able to improve his living conditions in the CIS, and any unused funds will be added to the tournament prize pool! PS We happen to have one free spot in a penthouse :D

Translated from snake language to Russian:
"No refunds."

Gentlemen, there is very little time left before the CIS tournament begins. Who are we waiting for? Currently, only three people have paid the participation fee (1.5 rubles): 1). Lizard 2). Amiloo 3). FireToSky To start the tournament, we need the participation of 8 players, each paying 2250 rubles. If no one else needs the satellite tournament, just say so, and I'll return the money.

A strange story – Words and Highlight were ready, and Toga Nash and the others, but only three submitted their entries. Maybe people have some kind of complex about the FTS, I don't know, but there's no time to check, so I have to close the tournament. Let me know where to return the money, or I can credit/give it to someone for the CIS tournament.
I already wrote to Cobra, but it seems he's slow to understand. I don't see the point in contributing money when we can't even gather the required number of people, even just by talking about it.

Okay, let's solve a simple math problem, I love them :D. Pay attention, here's the problem: we need 8 people * 2250. 3 people have contributed. The question is: where are the other 5? You, Toganaш, Amsterdam, and Falcon have expressed interest. Zanin, Dark (although he might just be trolling), and SevenSun, and I were also considering it. So, we easily get 8 people, even if just one of the "undecided" contributes. So why didn't anyone contribute in the end? Because everyone is just sitting around waiting for the quorum, just like you. Or, I have an even better idea: after FTS registered, everyone suddenly realized the "insignificance" of their chances of winning :D. The second option is supported by the fact that 15 people participated in the first satellite tournament. If the problem is really just this, I'm willing to refund one FTS entry fee so that the tournament can take place.
I'm waiting for a response for just one day, then I'll close the thread
Allowing one person to win the same prize twice seems, in my opinion, to contradict common sense. In the first tournament, it wasn't possible to win more than 18k, even though 23.5k was at stake. The second tournament should logically be a continuation of the first. However, the winner of the first tournament somehow still has the opportunity to win another 18k :D Otherwise, I would have participated.
