But you can cast Phantom on a strong unit without retaliation, attack, and everyone will start attacking the Phantom instead of the others. If they miss, they'll also get a counterattack from the Phantom.
I completed the entire Inferno campaign by casting Phantom on Cerberuses.

A mass attack, like a rain of fire, covers a good area, so you won't lose out, and the Fontomites will disappear, almost certainly! Is Banish 100% effective? Please correct me if I'm wrong!
And there is no Banish spell.

If you cast Phantom on Cerberuses or Vampires, they immediately start acting, and while it's your hero's turn, the Phantom will do a lot of damage.
And there's no Banish spell.

Yeah, I didn't know, very interesting. Necropolis has the "Banish" spell, but it seems it's not as effective as it used to be.
Yes, I didn't notice the banishment effect, but it's not for phantoms, but for summoned creatures. The number of banished creatures is 25% + 3% * hero level, but no less than 1 creature.
In short, at level 25, all summoned creatures and phantoms (or are they too?!) sing their swan song!
Banishment affects all units summoned or called by demons, and a phantom duplicates a selected friendly unit => a phantom is not a summoned unit, so banishment does not affect the phantom.
Yeah, especially when a group of imps appears and all the mana runs out, and magic becomes useless.

That's quite a topic for discussion! Each faction has its own main characteristics! If a faction is focused on attack, then they need attack and defense; if focused on magic, then knowledge or spell power. You can't single out one specific important skill. All are important! :)
