I bought the "Hammers of Fate" expansion, but it only works with DVD-ROM, and I have a RW drive. Can you please suggest any programs (patches) that can fix this issue?

Buy the CD version, not the DVD version, and everything will be fine.

Does anyone know of a program that can bypass the copy protection (so it will play on a DVD-RW)? I’ve looked online and haven’t found anything, so I’m asking on the forum for experts.

You cannot force the RV drive to accept DVDs; you have the following options:
a) Buy a DVD drive.
b) Buy the CD version.
c) Copy the disc to a CD, install it, and find a NoCD patch (if any exist for Heroes of Might and Magic V) for Hammers of Fate.

So, do you have a CD or DVD drive? It's a bit strange how you're writing this. If you have a DVD-RW, it should be able to read regular DVDs... But if you have a CD drive, there are no programs for that, as these are fundamentally different formats. The only thing you can do is ask a friend to bring you a DVD drive and install the game from it.

download NODVD for Hammers of Fate (they exist); search for it online and you'll find it.
