Another year, though we are still quite far from it, is gradually approaching its inevitable conclusion, but the lights of life in this ancient place do not fade: despite numerous claims of death, the mafia simply will not die; expeditions continue to entertain players; to this day, users chat about trifles and share their thoughts and stories with one another. In my view, this is an exceptionally good sign. Many, of course, may disagree, but it is always good when you have a carefree opportunity to check something, read, discuss, or participate in something.

As you can guess - this is the start of the traditional annual event. I'll say right away - I haven't mistaken November for December (although such things happen from time to time with days of the week and dates of the month), the early start is due to changes in the rules, but before that, let's remember the past:

Rules
I. First of all, I want to suggest taking the choice of material a bit more seriously. That is, I know that many people from time to time (myself included) submitted content for the sake of it or just "for fun". Of course, you shouldn't bend over backwards to find the perfect option; it's enough to simply choose something that is truly appealing.
Second: after the start of this type of contest, participants will have to give each nominee from 1 to 10 points. I understand that this adds more work for everyone, but I think it will be more interactive and interesting (provided that this method doesn't kill these contests entirely).

II. Even before the start of this contest, participants will randomly receive three nicknames from the list of sign-ups. They will have to find a corresponding image for them and send it to me; I will post them at the start, after which the guessing (masquerade) begins.

III. Niso's idea worked well, so I decided to repeat it. The theme is free. Here, as with the drawings - however it goes. If you have the time and mood - write; if not - don't force yourself.

IV. Participants send a photo of some animal and a landscape (that they find appealing). Others then guess the sender based on the combination.

V. Similar to stories, with the only difference being that the characters in the drawing must be ХВ-ers.

Now there will be a reason for everyone to say that I have a very busy work month ahead and no time for RL.

To be honest, I had some difficulty deciding what year to put on the picture. I settled on the beginning (start) of 2016, did everything, and then I had doubts about it (all topics except the very first were created at the end of the current year, not at the beginning of the next) + the outgoing year. I started redoing it, but I still stopped at the stage of thinking, and in the end, I just gave up.

Regarding the contests: in this format, it takes a lot of time (especially with the abundance of tracks), but I thought that once a year it could be fun if it's done a little more seriously.
In general, something can be cut out. This also applies to all sorts of masquerades if their concept is not very interesting.

I started preparing in advance because there are more contests, which takes more time, + the time needed to find everything in advance.
