Posts from Necromancers – “The Bait” [Campaign 3, Mission 1]
Could this be due to the unusual creatures? I encountered a problem in the campaign for Agrael (the Ship mission) where it was impossible to complete the dragon task. If I brought a hundred elven archers of the second upgrade, it wouldn't recognize them. I was too lazy to redo it, so I just killed them, but the quest wasn't completed. So far, this is the only inconsistency I've encountered.
It's always better to fight dragons directly and not bother with archers; they won't cause any problems.
Yes, but usually you want to finish it as quickly as possible, and the speed of completion is also recorded there, I think.
I've been playing Heroes for many years, and I always have two conflicting desires: to complete a mission as quickly as possible, but also to prolong the enjoyment. That's why I usually spend an average of 3-4 months on a map. For particularly large or complex maps, it takes about 5 months.

There are missions that are better not to drag out, for example, the second or fifth mission for the Sylvan faction.

And this is probably what I dislike the most in Heroes 5: essentially, it focuses on blitzkrieg tactics. Again, the final score in the leaderboard primarily depends on the completion time:smile17:.
Просто мне нравятся брюнетки...Поэтому и - Лукреция  Асха всё обращает во благо (с).

In the fifth mission, I wandered around the starting castles for 2 months, then I went to kill the undead, and completed it by the 6th month. Light-Darkness is overpowered.SuperGuru

Of course :) in missions where the scenario requires speed, you have to be fast. I mean maps where you are not particularly limited by time or unrealistic opponents who will arrive after a certain number of days if you don't complete it within the given timeframe.

There are advantages to this. Sometimes, speed is what decides the outcome of a war.

I don't know how it is now, but I remember when I played version 1.0, there was a time when I took too long and ran into Nicholas, who had 4000 dragons; there was no way to win.
And how does Darkness help so well against the undead? Many things don't work.

Well, of course:) in missions where the scenario requires us to be fast, we have to be. I mean maps where you are not particularly constrained by time or unrealistic opponents who will arrive after a certain number of days if you don't finish in time.
In general, I also like to explore various locations, but I want to complete some missions faster.

There was such a bug in version 1.0 with dragons, but it was fixed in the patches. And Darkness is good with slowing and weakening. Slowing + speeding up, and the colors of the battle sequence start to look very nice.

Not bad, but you have to dedicate an entire skill branch to it. In principle, it's fine without Darkness; it's quite difficult to get Darkness for Elves. You can reduce the 3 stacks of undead with Storm Wind, and then they also have sworn enemies, so they are defeated normally.
