When playing as Humans and needing to build a strong and large army, I do the following: I buy peasants (or other weak units) and turn them into cavalry! :) It's true that it costs a lot of money, and often I don't even have enough to buy the rest of the army. :mad: But in general, I also don't like Archangels – there are too few of them, and they often get killed. This doesn't affect the attacks. Simply, if someone attacks your archer in melee combat, the knight will strike back at the enemy.

There's a big difference between "can" and "should."

No matter how much I love the Academy, I have to admit: the Haven Castle in Heroes 5 is the best of all... I mean the Castle itself, the city, not the creatures =) See for yourself... The city looks magnificent. That's one thing. But all the cities in the fifth installment are different in this respect. The real difference is that all the buildings are harmonious and easily complement each other. They don't feel "out of place," so to speak. Everything is simple and clear. By the way, the buildings themselves are very beautiful - just look at the angel statues, the huge crosses when building the Capitol. That's what I call beauty! Thirdly, the Castle itself inspires respect. Seriously, when I first saw it, I was simply blown away. I can't find another word to describe it. A huge Castle on a river in the middle of endless sun-drenched plains, seemingly invincible. Please, if you haven't already, do the following. Build the Castle completely, up to level 34-35. Now, exit the Castle and re-enter, without pressing anything. You will be shown the Castle from all sides in a cinematic camera shot. Combined with the absolutely stunning music, which is truly one of the best soundtracks in the history of computer games, it really looks fantastic. Even if Haven isn't your favorite faction, you will still be impressed. Because no other Castle in the game has such grandeur and stateliness, and I swear to you. Besides, Haven is the most atmospheric Castle. It is so bright and airy that you think, how else could you depict a Castle of light forces, and you couldn't do it better. Seriously, it's amazing. A-m-a-z-i-n-g.

P.S. The Academy is still my favorite, though ;)

I completely agree, the Castle is awesome!!! Another thing I really like about Humans is their efficiency; each unit has its own purpose. They don't just stand around like idiots; they actually provide value. Griffons, archers, paladins – they're all about attack; knights protect the archers; inquisitors are buffers, but I don't even make them; I prefer to split the archangels into two squads, use resurrection, and then finish off whoever's left. Everyone has their place; no one is superfluous, and no one gets in the way. IMO, the paladins' ability to remove curses is completely unnecessary; with their damage, they should be killing, not removing curses. With a high Luck stat of 16, paladins can take down 6-7 Black Dragons in one go, and with a Luck stat of 14, they can take them all out. I love it!))
