This has always bothered me too, as it doesn't align with the idea of boundless divine mercy. That's why I believe in reincarnation, as a result of which a person – faster or slower, depending on their actions – moves towards the ultimate goal: transitioning to a qualitatively higher level of existence (well, heaven, or becoming an angel, or something like that), and so on.
I apologize for the interruption, but you seem to be mixing things up, confusing the statements of some unknown person with the statements of God. And don't confuse what you've read; it's unlikely that God wrote it. And it is not for a mortal to judge His decisions.
