Allow me to share my purely personal opinion.
Since childhood, I've felt that there is some kind of force that some call God or Satan. It exists, and everyone has their own. The Devil is also a god, just a different one, most likely the same, but the god of other people. They will always be together. Black and white, hell and heaven, cold and hot, light and darkness. Whenever there is a force, there is always a counter-force. This is a law of nature. Some believe in themselves – for them, God is themselves. For others, they need someone, some very powerful being, a cluster of energy, or something else – that will be the god for that person. I, for example, believe in reincarnation. I believe that there is no end. And when things are bad, or things aren't going well, I go to church. Although I believe in myself, I don't believe in someone else (GOD or the DEVIL). You can believe in Odin, Thor, Buddha, Shiva, or someone else – faith is a refuge for any person. Without faith, a person dies. There are no atheists. Atheists have their own faith; I don't know what it is, but I don't believe that they don't believe in anything.
