In short, I think the Halekhids need a slight buff, if not in stats/abilities, then in some other ability. And I'm not saying this just because I might create a character of that nationality.

Skeleton (80): Raises a skeleton from the corpse of a slain enemy.
Living Dead (100): Raises a living dead from the corpse of a slain enemy.
Leadership: +35 to health and mana for each character in the group, +7 to willpower; provided that the character with this skill is assigned as the squad leader (x3).
The spellcaster gains the ability to control the target's actions for a certain time.
Cold (-|90): Freezes the enemy for one turn. A frozen enemy takes triple damage.
Scholar: +15 to intelligence (x3).

Is this spell more geared towards the combat part of the gameplay or the part that takes place outside of battles?
Can spells of this type be used outside of battle, and if so, how will this happen?
Should the character actually be a scientist (or close to it) or is it just a name for the perk?
What kind of potions will be able to be brewed?
I.e., does it increase the chance of success/resistance to a spell?
And in what state are the raised undead preserved and how long do they exist? Can they be "re-raised"? Can an undead "live" for an unlimited amount of time if it statically consumes the specified energy reserve?
If the enemy's damage is greater than the character's will, the character takes damage equal to the enemy's damage minus the character's will.
The risen dead do not attack the character if he is idle.
The character always counterattacks; the character cannot be critically hit in melee combat.
Outside of battle, the character's health is restored by an amount equal to the character's will each game day.
+5 to dexterity.
