Heroes of Might and Magic IV forever!!!

The spell system is very well ordered compared to the second... New, interesting skills... Hero specializations — absolutely great... Plenty of pluses!
But some "atmosphere" that was in the same two — vanished forever... Why does playing Heroes II feel like being immersed in a fairy tale? Heaven knows... magic. :smile32:

Heroes 3 is, of course, great. But I also like the second game, and even the first one; I still play them sometimes. So, I agree with Slonysh. I could play the second Heroes game for hours, sometimes for days.

3 - definitely the best, there's something about them that's so captivating, making you want to play for days on end; this is missing in 4 and 5. 5 - not bad, but in reality, too much emphasis was placed on graphics and not enough on the plot and the atmosphere that exists in the 3rd game. 4 - a terrible game... 3 with a minus... But this is just my opinion.

1st place definitely goes to "Heroes of Might and Magic I"
2nd place definitely goes to "Heroes of Might and Magic II"
3rd place is "Heroes of Might and Magic III"
4th place is "Heroes of Might and Magic IV" (although, in terms of gameplay, the first is better than the third, and in terms of balance as well.)
5th place is "Heroes of Might and Magic V" because they shouldn't have mixed Diablo with Heroes; they are good separately.

I think that all parts are good in their own way! I started playing with the 4th part (without having seen or known about the others before!), and I just fell in love with this game! I was obsessed with it! I played day and night! I enjoyed every minute at the computer, reveling in the music! I played all the scenarios, and the campaign, although not all of it. I also played the expansions for the 4th part. I didn't even think about other series! But then I found the 3rd part! It seemed unusual to me (compared to the 4th), but I liked it very much! But still, not as much as the 4th! Then came the 5th! Which I'm playing now! It combines ideas from the 3rd and 4th parts! And the graphics are great! But there are terribly few scenarios!(((( And it won me over! I don't even know which is better, the 4th or the 5th! IMHO! I haven't played the 1st and 2nd, which is a great pity((( I'll try to make up for it! But people, agree that each part is good in its own way! And it's a waste of time to criticize the 4th! What's wrong with the fact that they decided to modernize it?! On the contrary, it acquired its own unique charm with its innovations! Is it bad that the hero doesn't just stand there like a pillar, but fights? He's needed for that, not just to carry the army! And what's wrong with the caravans? Of course, the 4th part has its flaws! But no game is immune to that!
We're just all wary of change, and we take every change with hostility! But we need to look for the good side in everything! Now you can throw stones at me!))
I play all the parts depending on my mood! But I love the 4th and 5th the most! I'll put the 3rd in second place! This is just my personal opinion! And finally, I'll say: The fact that we're all arguing so much already shows that Heroes was a great success and will remain so for a long time in any of its forms! Heroes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and all the expansions FOREVER!

I think the 4th installment was a good experiment, with many new features... and they decided to do it because the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd installments were practically the same... with the exception of a few changes...

Part 1: the beginning
Part 2: a great game, no comments needed
Part 3: a continuation of a great game (the peak of the series)
Part 4: a very bad game (the pseudo-3D is depressing, a boring game)
Part 5: an excellent game, but too overdone (cameras, effects, super 3D, etc.)…

Well, I would also add about the 5th game that less attention should have been paid to the embellishments, and more to the gameplay.
And the 3rd game is the best.

Heroes 3 is undoubtedly the best. It would be even better if a couple more castles were added, but as it is, it's perfect.
