Right here and now, we need to discuss the amount of the mandatory fee, so that people don't act surprised on the spot later and say they hadn't planned for these expenses. As for side collections from poker, that can and should be discussed on-site!!! I propose the main fee scheme once again: Organizers - 20 000 rubles Participants - 1500 rubles Spectator - 500 rubles No fees are collected from women and children. + rake from the poker tournament In my opinion, given the crisis conditions, this is a quite good prize pool, IMHO
And generally, ideally, we could use our 20 000 rubles not for the prize pool, but for some compensations and side expenses for the whole group to reduce the cost of the trip, but that's for the participants to decide)))
There is also a suggestion - to take 10% from the money brought along

I don't know, maybe it's a bit off-topic, but the level of play has become much more even.
The "Charity" tournament is a good example.
It would be very interesting to do something similar (coins for templates) and, accordingly, increase the tournament entry fee.
As someone correctly pointed out, when playing poker, they easily lose 10K per hand, but when it comes to a tournament entry fee, they hesitate because the chances of winning are small.
In my opinion, the ideal solution would be a 5K entry fee and the ability to choose templates with coins.
As for the viewers, poker players, and others, it's just not the same.
There's another suggestion – to take 10% of the money brought in.
Right away, a percentage of the bankroll! What kind of communism is this!? From each according to his ability! ;) =Stinger=
and, accordingly, increase the tournament entry fee. They were right, that when playing poker, they easily lose 10K per hand, but when it comes to a tournament entry fee, it feels bad because the chances of winning are small.
Ideally, in my opinion,a 5K entry fee.
Dad came and raised the stakes! :) This suits us perfectly (c)

The main thing is that dad goes himself.

I repeat, in Minsk, donations were collected from spectators for the tournament, as a voluntary contribution. Some donated $20, some $5, Volodya Vodik donated $100, and most donated nothing...
OMG, be more careful when quoting Great figures, otherwise one of the organizers might end up banned again, just like before the tournament, and for a much less offensive vocabulary. ;-)

Esteemed professionals, and those who want to increase the prize pool, how about this option: 1. Entry fee per participant: 1500 2. Spectator fee: 500 3. Players who make it to the 1/2 finals contribute an additional amount to the prize pool, say 5000 each, or whatever we agree on. In this case, both ordinary players will be satisfied, and the prize pool will be increased, thanks to those who advocate for its increase, and they will have a real chance to win it.
