The voting turned out to be quite "interesting," and perhaps next year, it would be worth limiting the choice to 1 option and only counting the votes of those who are at least registered in the season, because, in my opinion, the value of a vote from a "newcomer" who has a couple of posts on the forum, barely understands the game, and disappears after a week or two after the voting, is almost the same as that of an "old-timer," but I think they have different "value," but what's done is done, and in any case, Maretti deservedly won; he has been playing for a very long time and very successfully, and besides, he is only one step away from adding the title of the strongest tournament player on the forum - FB - to his numerous titles.

My only goal for the season was to become player of the year. I saw this as the hardest title to get. So a big thank you to everyone who voted for me. It means a lot.

It's certainly their prerogative to decide who to allow to vote and who not.
At the same time, I want to note that despite my 3 posts, they were all made for a reason.
Also, I have been a member of this site for a whole six months, gentlemen! :smile17:
And before this fateful registration, I studied the streams of many respected members of the community for half of my precious year.
I assure you that I understand HoMM3 at a decent level.
I can only speak for myself; I voted for Maretti and Jurista, two of the strongest and most spectacular players today, and largely because their games can be enjoyed almost every day!
And this is still a popularity contest, as far as I understand.
Therefore, I believe it is wrong to ignore my vote and the votes of many other fans like me.
