more trees are needed than ore... how many are needed for the elves... also for the dwarves, centaurs... and in general, for the market, the forge... and stones can be obtained later, by that time they will already be available...
You need more wood than ore... How much is needed for the elves alone? Also for the dwarves, centaurs... and in general, for the market and the forge... but stones can be obtained later, by that time they will already be available...
Wood is easy to obtain.

If I play as Elves, I choose Kirre or Mephala.
Dendroids and Thunderbirds guard the castle, the rest are with the hero.
It's convenient to start with Elves and Centaurs. They are fast in battle and quite strong, so in the first 2-3 weeks, they "solve" all the issues of taking resources from lower-tier creatures. And then the dragonlings will be ready.
Pegasi "G" only when you use them as "G"... or when they are controlled by the computer... in my game, they fulfill their role (not the main one) -)))

at the beginning of the game, Centaurs and Elves are really valuable - probably the ideal pair among all cities, considering their simple and relatively fast construction - you need a lot of wood and a little money -) for Humans, the Archer-Halberdier pair is not much worse, but you also need stone, which may not always be available at the beginning of the week due to the construction of the barracks and Griffins (if, of course, you decide to build them in the first week -))) besides, it's easier to defend against Elves with Centaurs - they occupy 2 squares
I've been reading your remarks regarding the various pros and cons of the Rampart, and I would like to share my humble opinion. 1. I disagree about the slow units from the Rampart. Why lug around Dendroids and Dwarves? I believe it is harmful in principle. As for the others, they are simply rockets. Dragon 16, Pegasus 12, Unicorn 9, Centaur 8, Elf (shooter) 7. And on their own land, even more so. 2. Magic: they often grant Restoration and Town Portal. I think that is enough. 3. Heroes: Kyrre, Mephala, Ryland, Enova, Ivor. 4. The strongest side of the Rampart is DEFENSE (and if you play as Mephala, I assure you, you will agree), plus if you don't lug around the slowpokes (dwarves, dendrs), and considering they often get logistics, the heroes move very quickly. 5. Minus: very long development (dragons are a pain to build). But even here, once you've developed, you can tear things up. 6. This is my favorite race, therefore it is the best race!!! Thank you!
Dendroids and dwarves can be exchanged for angels. At worst, for wyverns. They look good and can be found in various treasuries and hidden places, where you can acquire those much-needed crystals. Green dragons have a significant advantage – they can be revived!
2. The ENEMY won't come out if you have few archers or none at all (it happens).
I recently played and noticed that if there are archers in the army, the AI will come out from behind the castle walls; if not, it will stay inside and shoot with its own archers.
Recently, I was playing and noticed that if there are archers in the army, the AI will leave the castle walls; if not, it will stay and shoot at the enemy with its archers.
Yep. That's the AI's tactic. And on the other hand, it's quite rational! You don't lose your own units and you shoot at the enemy.
When attacking with the Fortress, Pegasi and Dragons are useful. When defending a Fortress, Dragons and Pegasi (depending on the opponent's speed) wait and then attack Archers or other suitable units (if the opponent is weak, they can attack immediately) and fly back. Gnomes or Dendroids with Pegasi effectively cover and eliminate enemy Elves. Gnomes often have resistance, and Unicorns, if lucky, can help with their aura. It is advisable to attack those who enter the Fortress with Dendroids to pin them down and attack the creature from all sides.
At first, I choose Enova (350 per day) or Ivor (specialty: elves) — both are equally important! Next, I try to build the upgraded manor and Castle as quickly as possible during the first week (unless it's on 200% difficulty :))))). I clear the surrounding area of neutrals using elves and "cannon fodder" — centaurs. As a rule, I try to shoot everyone down before they even reach me (especially since the neutral monsters around the castle aren't particularly strong at first ;)). Then — I leave the dendroids in the castle; I don't like running across the map with them. In general, the faster the creatures and the fewer of them there are, the further and longer the hero travels... But one must know when to stop. So — dendroids for defense, and in the hero's army: great elves, dwarves, unicorns, dragons (if I manage to build them in time). And of course magic. I always try to learn everything. Elves are usually all smart. Or they get smart quickly.
At the beginning, I choose Enova (350 per day) or Ivora (specializing in Elves) – both are equally important! Next, I try to build an improved estate and a Castle as quickly as possible during the first week (if not on 200% difficulty). I clear the surrounding area of neutrals using Elves and "cannon fodder" – Centaurs. As a rule, I try to eliminate them all before they reach me (especially since the neutral monsters around the Castle are not very strong at the beginning). Then, I leave Dendroids in the Castle – I don't like running around the map with them. In general, the faster the creatures and the fewer of them, the farther and longer the hero can travel... But you need to know when to stop. So, for the defense of the Dendroids, in the hero's army, I have Great Elves, Gnomes, Unicorns, and Dragons (if I manage to build them). And of course, magic. I always try to learn everything. Elves are usually all intelligent. Or they quickly become intelligent.
I practically agree with everything; it's a correct tactic, but carrying Gnomes with you is practically the same as carrying Dendroids (speed 5 and 4). And if not with them, then at least 7 for Grand Elves. That's for later.
Guys, please explain which mine I should capture at the beginning when playing as Elves, the wood one or the ore one? And should I use one hero or two? If one, which one is better? What skills should I prioritize for the hero?
Also, the most important thing is that the opponent is Haven.
