The tavern keeper was clearly a former sailor, and judging by the scars, a military one at that. "Would you like some beer and meat? I'd offer wine, but it's all gone; only beer is left."

"— A glass of plain water, please. Or tea, if you have any." Selena was not much of an alcohol lover and had only drunk it a couple of times in her entire life.
