New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Chaos is too expensive of a Castle... Creature development is great, but what about the economy? And honestly, I haven't noticed that Chaos develops faster.
1. Chaos
2.Life
3.Order
4.Nature
5.Death
6.Barbarian
The problem is that the Darklings are expensive, and it costs 30 gold to build them. Other things are also a bit pricey, but it all pays off... First, the Thieves (the income is simply enormous). Second, even with the initial units, the Mage (Sorcerer) can both gain levels for himself and acquire a lot of useful things... The Mage's initial magic is quite good...
Yes, of course, if you judge based on various maps, you can swap some castles around in the ranking... In particular, if I'm talking about Chaos and Death... Also, the speed of development, of course, depends on the terrain you're on...
For example, with Death, unit construction goes much faster, but only if the hero has the opportunity to gain advantages in the early days of the game... And then, after, say, building Vampires, the speed of development for Death increases by almost 40%... As for Chaos, everything is more stable there... The speed depends only on two factors:
1. !Terrain!
2. !The ability to steal effectively!

Listen, I don't completely agree with you about the factions you mentioned... at least, it contradicts my views on the world of Heroes... Especially, Life being in second place surprised me! :)
On the contrary... Life is a very good faction. Especially with Life + Chaos magic, it becomes incredibly powerful. Even with just Life spells, it shows that it can stand against other factions. Plus, I already have level 3 warriors with the Death enchantment, and 2 archers + angels who can resurrect themselves. You need to think strategically here :)
Life is generally great, even though I don't love it; it's perfectly balanced, and magic is simply awesome! I especially like the spell... hmm, I forgot what it's called, but the idea is that the damage is dealt to one unit from three!
You're probably talking about the "Martyr" spell, right? It's very effective, especially when you've summoned a Barbarian with at least level 5 in combat skills. You can then apply damage to him that affects, say, Angels. This is very effective. That's why I insist that life should be considered as a race that can pose a challenge:smile14:
On the contrary... Life is a very good faction. Especially Life + Chaos magic turns out to be absolutely brutal. With wards, Life already shows that it can hold its own. Plus level 3 warriors already have Death Ward, and two shooters + angels that can resurrect themselves. You need to think this through wisely :)
YES, if Life + Chaos, it's definitely a powerful combination... in general, most combinations improve the rating of a particular faction... but in this topic, when we talk about the strongest castle, we mean a castle with magic and all its perks, without any crossbreeding. i.e., the strength of the castle with its initial parameters and at its maximum, without crossbreeding with other magic or factions:) (figuratively).... so in this topic, I'm only talking about the area highlighted in red.
You really need to protect the Life mages. It's best to use them in combination with a Tactician. Or two mages – that's powerful. It's more realistic to buff more of the units you need...
It will be more difficult to kill a Life Mage. You need to get to him, and he is hidden behind all the units. And the hero himself must drink the immortality potion. :D
Any mage can benefit from a bottle of immortality. The strength of a Barbarian lies in the fact that he needs it much less often than wizards. It's just that sometimes it feels like a waste of money...
