"I'm not sure he deserves it," said Dal Lang. But she stopped herself. "Alright, if you're going to fight him, I'll support you, just because that's my warrior's duty. But if, because of you, we get caught in a trap, or we act rashly, or we just kill a creature that wasn't really bothering anyone... I wash my hands of it. And don't forget that Paroxys hasn't returned from scouting yet. He might have more valuable information, information that requires action."
-Great, you're with us, Agnet, - agreed the Tyrian. -If this creature is willing to talk, we will accept its terms. But if not... there will be one less pest in these woods. The witch's lair isn't far from here, there's no time to wait for Paroxys, although his help would be welcome.
"I wouldn't say I know these places well, but I will certainly be happy to help with this noble cause," said the Khonthai, carefully examining his companions. "I once had an unpleasant encounter with a woman, presumably a witch, in these parts, but I don't remember her looking remotely like a plant, or having pink hair."
-There are many dangerous creatures in these places. But the most dangerous are those who possess intelligence. Our plant, it seems, is one of them. Thank you for your help.
"Alright, I'll go," replied Adrian. "And I suggest we take torches and some oil. As far as I understand, the plant is the combat form of this creature. I think fire will be very effective against it."
-Excellent idea, Adrian, - Ratislav rejoiced. -That's what we'll do.

"You'd be better off setting him on fire too. What a maniac! At least if he fought like a decent person!" Agnet thought.
-Great idea, Adrian. - Ratislav rejoiced. -That's what we'll do.
Aren't you afraid that VisTrita will get eaten? Or is he supposed to seduce the plant woman as part of the plan? ))
The plan is for him and Alex to shoot from a distance with pistols while we and the bot hack this cute little flower with swords. And even if they do get eaten, he has the smallest usefulness for the biggest reward. We'll split his share later. :)
A dozen natives and a terrifying wooden creature stood in his way. Behind them was a stone statue that vaguely resembled the wooden creature standing before him.
Realizing that continuing eastward would likely be fatal, Paroxysmus bowed to the wooden creature and hurried towards the camp, preparing to use "negation" in case of an attack.

The natives, having spotted Paroxys, rushed after him, but he was much faster than his pursuers and successfully broke away from them. Paroxys returns to the camp.
- The Emperor protected us, - said the tired and weakened Paroxys, entering the camp, - he immediately reported to the commander about the situation in the east and who he met there, and also suggested that the natives might attack the camp, and it would be wise to reinforce the positions. - I feel a strange weakness throughout my body. It seems they are using some kind of poison. Where are our healers and medics?

-Listen, Horus, - the Tyrian addressed a member of the expedition, - I heard that you are quite skilled with pistols. Would you like to demonstrate that? We are heading north to the witch's lair, and your skills would be useful there.
- Oh, with pleasure! - Horus replied, stretching. - It's time to act, crush enemies, and reap the rewards of our victories, enjoy the fruits... it doesn't matter, I'm ready.
