Game #2 BISHOP(red, tavern, solmyr, galtran) def ProtosArchon(blue, citadel, craig, craig) 6lm10a 247 It was a long struggle; initially, the second Protos had incredible stats and a crystal ball, but lacked control. And I, on the other hand, was given only control. As a result, I started taking over cities and buying reinforcements, even becoming so bold that I gave my second hero a teapot and a book of air because there were two of them, but the decisive Protos caught the hero and gained DD (Damage Dealer). I had to constantly teleport to the distant castle and take over as many cities as possible. Galtran was given water in the last slot, which proved quite useful in Fortress battles. On turn 247, Craig finally reached the distant Necropolis where Galtran was stationed and attacked without a crystal ball, but with +3 speed. Craig 53 32 28 200 mana 7 angels 131 ducks 17 greys 220 wolves 150 hobgoblins 41 +1 thunderbird Galtran 32 41 23 200 mana 16 angels 10 bone dragons 48 ducks 13 darks 12 champions 25 liches 3k skeletons + 2 hp +2 speed Protos locks the gates, but expert water prevented him from losing the battle (teleport + clone). Thanks for the game!
I confirm. Had much better stats and army at the beginning, but could not get dd on time. After i got it from opponent scout, it was too late. He already got full control of the map and i could only keep 2-3 towns per turn. He did not wanted to attack me because Hack had better stats and red orb and i could not reach him. I saw opportunity on 2.4.7 and attacked him in his town. I put red orb off hoping that my exp resistance and big implo will help. It started very good form me resisting his two implo and killing alot of his army. When i was almost sure in victory, opponent teleported and cloned skelies and that decided. Thx for game.
It was very similar game like 2nd, but lucky for me, outcome was different. Got nice map and was strong early, but again could not get dd. But i controled alot of map anyway, opponent was long time with 2 towns only. Like in previous game i had red orb and better stats. Visited a lot of utopias but got similar arties. I finally got dd in 11th utopia, just few days after opponent showed his dd. He did not took much of the map and i was able to catch him with shackles. Thx for game.

2-1
I confirm, I relaxed in the 3rd game, and Protos held on well, congratulations on the well-deserved victory!
Satyr (red, Necro, Clavius, Clavius) def Pit for LM (red, Conflux, Fure, Kyrre) mininostalgia 216 ... Thank you for the match.
Confirmed and thank you for the games.
First game: On 111 it seemed everything was fine. Luna spawned, air is built, it came to the maximum possible, and there's an external dwelling, a good guild, Moandor is in the tavern, there's a stable. I don't take the last 111. On 112 I open up the view and realize I'm in trouble. Other than the two collected piles, there's no gold on the respawn. The external dwelling is blocked by Magogs, which there should be many of (there's also an artifact and a chest). The same Magogs block one of the roads. The second road, right at the exit, is blocked by treasure zone guard. Fine, I try to get around the Magogs. First - Hobbites, I attack, there are nearly 100 of them, I lose all Centaurs and 1 elemental of air. Next are Lizardmen, and the exit is visible on snow. I decide not to risk it and turn around towards the third direction. On 113 I perform an air upgrade, greatly reducing the ability to break through shooter blocks. On 114 I pass the turn to break into the dungeon entrance. On the other side there are 50+ Blue, but the main trouble is that Gold Golems have completely blocked the road (again treasure zone guard). It's pointless to turn back again and try to go through the Lizardmen; a lead of more than a week for Necro is too much.
Second game: Here again on 111 it seemed everything was fine. A lot of air, it's built, there's Kairy, many heroes immediately, computers are close. However, I went into the swamp first thing and got bogged down there. I captured the city on 113, but Vistan, having built and bought all the Wyverns, fled. So he gathered freebies for a week, then died on his own, but forced me to keep some kind of defense of the city. In the middle of the week I turned towards the Castle, but it had built a Citadel and bought Swordsmen there. Can't take the city... Then huge gold problems started immediately. And the computer Dungeon had built 1-6 in the Citadel by day one and was putting heavy pressure on days 116-117. I had nothing to meet them with, just had to sit in the Citadel... In short, on 117 by exchanging all resources I finally get Birds. Meanwhile, Kairy is collecting resources in the swamp. No leveling, scouting is also weak. At the start of week two, having somehow bought the Birds, I killed the computers. Then I upgraded and bought Stormbirds, took a Dragon Fly Hive for 6, then went into a treasure zone. The treasure zone turned out to be bad, I took a couple of minor artifacts there, scouted a Dragon Utopia. I split my armies and go to the lava. There's a mini-Griffin Conservatory, a maxi-Dragon Fly Hive. Tant has gathered 200 skeletons. Then another Dragon Fly Hive, and boots from a grave. The treasure zone ended, but I still can't take the Dragon Utopia. I go to the last treasure zone. It's more fun there, a couple of large Dragon Fly Hives. I split my armies, take the Dragon Utopia. A three-piece with Sword of Justice and junk. I go to the center. The opponent has already broken through his own guard, but hasn't collected anything, and went off to clear his Dragon Utopias. However, I didn't get much - a Griffin Conservatory for 2 Angels and a couple of Dragon Fly Hives. On 137 I spent the night in the elevator on the opponent's respawn. On 141 I see that Clavius has returned to the capital. Lots of troops, great stats. I have about the same number of troops, but no magic at all and bad stats. I split my armies. In the center I see a Dragon Utopia, I ran past it but didn't see it earlier, and now I can't take it anymore. However, I saw a Dragon Utopia in one of my treasure zones, and headed there. I take it in a couple of days, there's a second one nearby. In the end I got a lot of junk, only slightly improved my stats. I return to the center again, rushing blindly off-road. I free Luna, take a Pandora's Box - Luna gets all of level 5. A Dragon Utopia with a Book of Air also comes up. Then I move to a cautious offensive. I capture the capital, the Castle with Archers, the Barbarian. After capturing the Barbarian, I realize that Luna is about to have a tough time, but I miscalculate the options and indeed lose her without dealing any damage to the opponent. But here I could have just won... Annoying. Kairy, meanwhile, runs to the last treasure zone in the swamp from the opponent's computer. Tower immediately shows that there are only 2 Dragon Fly Hives and a Dragon Utopia. I take the Dragon Utopia, get junk. The map is eaten, I never got Town Portal, I can't win. I could have probably run around for another two or three weeks, but sooner or later it would have ended badly. No point in dragging it out.
============================================
The tournament is heading towards its resolution. I updated the table. For the first time in tournament history, Tower, thanks to the efforts of BISHOP, has risen this high and taken an honorable, but frustrating, fourth place. The top three have been determined. Satyr (Necropolis), ProtosArchon (Stronghold), and Pit for LM (Conflux) must play the last 2 matches and decide the places. On the agenda:
ProtosArchon vs Pit for LM
- a match to 2 wins. Maximum for 1 game - 2 weeks, I hope we play it out faster.
A little bit of nostalgia. The “Favorites in Battle” tournament is the oldest one still running out of the three on HW. A year ago, the organizers prepared their memoirs and statistics for the entire series. If you are interested in our history, read it – in the Lub-5 thread, starting from post /post/654604/.
The very first tournament took place in 2008. Dirty_Player’s memories about it can be found here, and the player rating for Lub1 is here.
Traditionally, the organizers make various statistical calculations. Valera (who is now Dagr) and I are preparing statistics for both Lub-6 and the entire series; we will gradually publish them in May.
I’ll start with the castle rating. As a reminder,
the rating includes the results of the best 16 players in each tournament. The winning castle receives 16 points, 2nd place – 15 points, 3rd place receives 14 points, etc. In cases where castles were eliminated in the playoffs at the same stage, everyone receives the maximum score for the highest possible position. For example, a castle that finished 5th-6th received 12 points, and one that finished 13th-16th received 4 points. In the Favorites-1 tournament, 17 castles received points (with 14th to 17th places receiving 3 points each).
This time, I added the number of players playing for a specific castle and the percentage of the total number of players in the tournament, as well as the top three results for each castle. The table is, of course, not final; the positions in the top three have not yet been determined (there are ? instead, which will be replaced by either 14, 15, or 16 points in the final table), but this has little impact on the overall picture:
Yellow highlights the “gold” castle of the tournament.
L-1 took place with Necromancer having a significant advantage. There were no players willing to play Stronghold or Tower at all; Conflux was banned, and only Dirty_Player volunteered to play Inferno.
In L-2, Dungeon showed excellent results, but 1st and 3rd places went to Conflux (as a reminder, the tournament took place by default on CM).
In L-3, there were three favorites: Fortress, Rampart, and Dungeon with approximately equal results. It was then that Inferno from FireToSky achieved its best position ever (5th-8th), but as far as I remember, FTS played WT for the entire tournament except for the last match (which he lost).
The 4th Favorites took place with Rampart having a large advantage, but Castle won.
L-5 – a triumph for Rampart – 1st, 2nd, and 4th places, with 5 elf enthusiasts in the top 16.
L-6 saw Stronghold and Tower achieve their highest positions in history (before this, bRitvo4kA had the best Barbarian result with 5th-6th place in L-5, and rebellious with 9th-16th place in L-3 was the best player for Tower).
I will publish the personal table of “veterans” and the player ranking when the final results of the tournament are available.
18.05.2014. Pit for LM (red, Conflux, random Pasis, Stryker) def ProtosArchon (blue, Stronghold, Crag, Crag), Diamond, 135. We both used 111 restart and the game started. One 111 I had uneasy decision whether to use restart or not. From one side, I had only 4 heroes and not much gold seen. No airs prebuilt, no dwellings. From the other side, I got necromancer (not the best one, Stryker, but nevertheless), well-situated stables, conservatory and Pandora under the capital guarded by 20-49 battle dwarves. Starting army was also not bad. Also exits from the start zone were to lava, underground and one more underground, so I didn’t have to walk with penalty. On 112 I made my way to lava and found a library and helm +3 there. Bought 5th hero, Solmyr. On 113 Solmyr made his way to underground and found a lot of gold there. I took 2k crypt, build and bought waters and killed dwarves. Stryker got 5k exp, expert necromancy and tactics. Also I found a lot of gold in the other part of a starting zone. On 114 Solmyr spotted a couple of hives, conservatory and utopia. Stryker went to other underground zone, took rampart village and found a hive there. Also I found Inferno comp there and killed one his hero. On 115 Inferno was taken and completely banished. I lost a couple of airs, but found their dwelling. On 116 I took one more village and found an imp bank. On 117 I took it with birds, then killed a few more good packs of monsters and placed Stryker to Cyclops bank to retreat home on 121. By that time Brissa already took 2 villages on lava, but didn’t find anything of significant interest (except for red orb, maybe). On 121 I bought birds, upgraded airs and killed iron golems for library. On 122 I took conservatory which gave 3 angels, sent army to underground, took 8 wyv hive and titan shield. Brissa found an air tome! On 123 I sent army to lava, got air book, sandals +2 all, then air orb in underground and managed to deliver army to the external tavern. I bought Stryker there, took 8 wyv hive, 2 angel con and 5k exp Pandora. I could reach utopia the same day, but decided to wait a bit. On 124 I started with the last scouted hive, refilled mana and took utopia. It turned out to be minimal and gave the second titan shield. Stryker was left in the newly captured village overnight. On 125 I took a hive near that village and necklace +1 speed. Stryker retreated and was placed to launch an attack to opponent. By that time Solmyr finally reached a village in a treasury and found an utopia near it, but it was too far. On 126 I took gloves, bought vampire robe in black market, Brissa took opponent’s village using DD. Stryker retreated there and captured barbaric capital. On 127 I took one more village and found a lion shield near it, which was taken by Ciele and delivered to Stryker. On 131 Stryker just visited stables and was left at barb town. Brissa had adv air, but it was uncertain where to find Crag, so I built a chain to the scouted utopia. On 132 utopia was taken, it was 3 BD and gave +4+4 armor and titan helm. I decided to go further into that treasury, and took an empty Pandora (it was very frustrating, since I took wisdom on about lev 10, but it was still basic). But fortunately I spotted a corner of another utopia. On 133 it occurred that there was 2 utopias one near another. The first was minimal, but gave earth tome. The second was 3 BD, but gave nothing significant (titan armor, red orb). I also was able to take one more hive and teleported to inferno castle. From 134 I could have very vast opportunities for increasing army and intense exploration. I started with the conservatory scouted long ago, but it gave just 1 angel. And on 135 Crag showed himself. Obviously it was a nice opportunity to attack. He had about 30-10-10-10, Stryker was around 20-20-15-15, but I had neither armor nor offence (Crag had both). In any case, he didn’t have much mana and no red orb / cloak, and his only significant stack was around 40 wyvs. A great advantage in army and magic made it an easy win. Thanks for a game!
Average number of points earned by one player per castle: 180/41 = 4.4 - Dungeon 224/70 = 3.2 - Rampart I think this indicator reflects the statistics very well.
24.05.2014. Pit for LM (red, Conflux, random Inteus, Tant) def ProtosArchon (blue, Stronghold, Crag, Crag), Diamond, 126. We both used 2 days of restarts. The last map was difficult, but turned out well. 111 - 7 heroes, Grindan, Tant. Outer market, a couple of crypts, two exits to underground, one to one-way portal and one off-road two-way portal. Not much starting army and no airs prebuilt, no dwellings. Tant ate chest, got 1k exp and adv necro. That made my decision to play here. 112 - took village in underground; a couple of Pandoras, utopia, necro-boots were nice scouted things there. 113 - took crypts at starting zone, scouted stables. Didn't make a way to second underground zone due to the missclick. 114 - took one more underground village. The roads are very short and I had no good exit to mainland. But I scouted an earth book guarded by rocks and that made me happy. 115 - scouted some of the zones through portals. Lots of hives, Pandoras, utopias, but no good guards to earn sceletons. 116 - killed 7 hydras with up stack for Pandora. The fight went bad, got antimoral on last sprite when I wanted to renew haste on sceletons and hydras got ots of good morales that turn. The result was minus about 70 skels. But Pandora gave 10k exp, Tant learned Earth, Logistics and Armor. 117 - I found and took boots of speed and Tant moved to stables.Firebirds were built. 121 - Monere took full gnome bank, Inteus 8-medusa bank, so I felt strong and Tant attacked 50-99 fire elementals. 88 fires killed a bird, all minds and half of skeletons, just 76 remained. 122 - took necro-boots, earned some skeletons with them from imps, attacked 50 rocks. It was a bad fight, lost one more bird and some skeletons, but 150 remained and I got TP. 123 - had no other chance than to go somewhere offroad. 200 skeletons. 124 - 300 skeletons, took a village, found lots of roads. Scouted utopia and opponent's territory. 125 - Monere went to check the utopia. Full. The army and hero were not good to attack dragons, so I went other direction. Library, titan shield and 5k Pandora that experted all my skills were the things necessary to take the full utopia. 126 - The utopia was taken without losses (350 skells + 1 bird + ressurect) and gave everything necessary - +6 all helm, +3 all necklace, 5-lev hat and titan armor. Crag was nearby with 6 angels in a single stack. I had enough mana for implosion, so the game finished here. Thanks for the match!

Congratulations to ProtosArchon and his Barbarians on taking third place and winning a medal! Congratulations, ProtosArchon! Great result for Stronghold!
Dirty_Player
Well, now we definitely have a two-time champion, both as a player and with their faction. The intrigue of the tournament is gone :D
Yes, a phrase from the opening post of the tournament has lost its relevance:
None of the factions or players have won tournaments twice. Necropolis, Conflux, Swamp, Castle, and Rampart have all been champions before. What will happen now?
Now we have one final match:
Satyr (Necropolis) vs Pit for LM (Conflux).
The grand finale is played to 3 wins, starting with a score of 1-0 in favor of the winner of the upper bracket, i.e., Satyr needs to win 2 games to win the tournament, while Pit needs to win 3 games.
There are 2 missing results. But I think everyone will find it interesting to look at.
Leaderboard for the "Favorites, Battle!" Tournament - 6.
The formula for calculating the rating is: R = (LOG10(N/m))*33, where N is the number of participants in the tournament, and m is the place taken by the participant. In cases where the position was not determined, the best possible result is used.
21.06.2014. Pit for LM (red, Conflux, random Passisa, Gunnisson) def Satyr (blue, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran), Jebus, 124. We started fairly quickly after one restart from the opponent. 111 - I see an external dwelling of birds, two Dragon Fly Hives, a necklace +3+3 to magic, a Pandora's Box for gr. ogres, a Dragon Utopia. Seems decent, especially since Gunnisson came in and there's a place to level him. 112 - I light up the view. Another external dwelling of birds, Cloak of Abdication, Dragon Fly Hive, Sphere of Air, Spirit of Despair, a couple of Pandora's Boxes. And I even found a log cabin in a hut! And Gunni gets earth magic. 113 - I grab the Pandora's Box for troglodytes, 5k experience, leveled up armor. I take a village - a Dungeon, which is very good. The second road to a secondary is blocked by medusas with Shackles of War. Another Dragon Utopia, though, I won't get to the Dragon Utopia. Problems with gold are looming. 114 - I break myself, grab the log cabin. I reclaim a sword +3 and a shield +4. 115 - I run to the ogres. I have nothing and no one to fight with... 116 - I hit 30+ ogre magi. I get a perfect, as it will turn out later, Pandora's Box - for 10k gold. I run to the first external dwelling, set a chain to the second. 117 - I set and buy birds. I hit crusaders for the external dwelling. An unlucky pair of moralities - and minus one bird. In frustration, inside the external dwelling I waste everything except the bird and a water elemental (I unsuccessfully burned myself). The chains are stretched tight, no room to deviate; large Dwarf Cottages and Medusa Dwellings along the way, it's dangerous to take them with 3 birds. But it's necessary; I attack the dwarves, fortunately, it turns out to be a score of them. With the earned 5k I set up a portal in the Dungeon, buy birds, 10 trogs, transfer them to Bron. He breaks 70 griffins without losses, successfully gets tactics, and grabs the external dwelling itself without significant problems. Total - in the army 7 birds + in the castle, earth elementals and fire elementals are not bought. I also scouted some comfortable boots. 121 - I reclaim the boots, Spirit of Despair, and the necklace of magic. Gunnisson breaks towards the library. 122 - Crypt, Cloak of Abdication, Dwarf Cottage 15, library, Sphere of Air, Dragon Fly Hive for 12 Wyverns. Maxi-Medusa dwelling, Dragon Fly Hive for 4, Dwarf Cottage 20, a grave with junk, Shackles. Turis runs a bit further along the previously blocked road and sees another Dragon Fly Hive with a Pandora's Box. 123 - Gunnisson breaks, doubles his mana, breaks again, and runs to the GO. Turis runs a bit further, sees the third external dwelling of birds, and grabs it. 124 - Dragon Fly Hive +6, Dragon Fly Hive +8, I buy the last birds from the external dwelling. There's no money for any kind of burn. So I leave the spawn - 19 birds, 28 Wyverns, and single fairies. Right at the exit I immediately grab Dragon Fly Hive +8, upgrade my shield to +6. And here Galtran is standing nearby. By and large, I was ready for the encounter, because I saw from the log that the parameters were roughly equal (16-12 vs 16-14), my army even had more on the loser than Galtran's, and I had the Cloak against magic. However, he still had only 15 points of mana. In the army - 1+31 gr. Wyverns, 12 black knights, and 100 skeletons. I positioned a bit awkwardly, but 20 birds dominate anyway, I have no fewer Wyverns, and as a last resort I had a bolt for 300+. Overall, it was easy to win, and the Shackles gave not the slightest chance to continue the game. Thank you for the game!
21.06.2014. Pit for LM (red, Conflux, random Passisa, Gurnisson) def Satyr (blue, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran), Jebus, 124. We started fairly quickly after one restart by the opponent. 111 - I see an external dwelling of birds, two Dragon Fly Hives, a necklace +3+3 to magic, a Pandora's Box with grand ogres, a Dragon Utopia. Seems okay, especially since Gurnisson spawned and there's a place to level him up. 112 - I cast Vision. Another external dwelling of birds, Cloak of Condemnation, a Dragon Fly Hive, Sphere of Air, Spirit of Despair, a couple of Pandora's Boxes. Plus I found Log in a hovel! And Gurni gets Earth magic. 113 - I take a Pandora's Box with troglodytes, 5k experience, skilled Armor. I take a village - a Dungeon, which is very good. The second road to the secondary is blocked by medusas with Shackles of War. Another Dragon Utopia, however, we won't get to the Dragon Utopia. Gold problems are looming. 114 - I split my army, grab the Log. I take a sword +3 and a shield +4. 115 - I run to the ogres. I have nothing to fight with and no one to fight... 116 - I hit 30+ ogre mages. I get a Pandora's Box that will turn out to be perfect later - 10k gold. I run to the first external dwelling, set a chain to the second. 117 - I set a dwelling and buy birds. I hit crusaders for the dwelling. An unlucky morale pair - and minus one bird. In frustration, inside the dwelling I lose everything except the bird and a water elemental (unfortunately burned myself). Chains are pulled tight, no room to deviate, the Dwarf Cottages and Medusa dens on the way are large, dangerous to take with 3 birds. But necessary, I attack the dwarves, it turns out luckily to be a score of them. For the earned 5k I build a portal in the Dungeon, buy birds, 10 trogs, transfer to Bron. Total - in the army 7 birds + in the castle earth elementals and fire elementals not bought. I also scouted comfortable boots. 121 - I take the boots, Spirit of Despair, and the necklace to magic. Gurni splits for the library. 122 - a crypt, Cloak of Condemnation, a Dwarf Cottage of 15, library, Sphere of Air, a Dragon Fly Hive with 12 Wyverns. A maxi-Medusa den, a Dragon Fly Hive of 4, a Dwarf Cottage of 20, a grave with junk, Shackles of War. Turis runs a bit further along the previously blocked road and sees another Dragon Fly Hive with a Pandora's Box. 123 - Gurni splits, doubles mana, splits again and runs to the GO. Turis runs a bit further, sees the third external dwelling of birds and takes it. 124 - Dragon Fly Hive +6, Dragon Fly Hive +8, I buy the last birds from the dwelling. No money for any kind of farm. So I leave the respawn - 19 birds, 28 Wyverns, and a few single fairies. Right at the exit I grab a Dragon Fly Hive +8, upgrade my shield to +6. There stands Galtran nearby. For the meeting I was, by and large, ready, because I saw from the log that the stats were roughly equal (16-12 vs 16-14), I even have more army on my hero than on Galtran, and I have the Cloak against magic. I hope in the next game they'll give more control) Thanks for the game.
28.06.2014. Pit for LM (red, Conflux, random Enian, Monere) def Satyr (blue, Necropolis, Galthran, Galthran), Jebus, 127. We chose all restarts - first three in a row for my opponent, then three in a row for me. In the end, it turned out poorly, and there weren't many chances to pull it off. 111 - the respawn looked promising. Two Dragon Fly Hives, a Griffin Conservatory, a sword +6, gloves, a ring +1+1 for battle stats. However, one road was completely blocked by liches (two stacks - 26 and 29 with a large stack), starting troops were zero (a Pixie came and 3 Air Elementals), Air Elementals weren't built. Among the heroes, there's Tyraxor. 112 - I ran in three directions. Not a single useful object appeared. Nothing to do, I take crypts. Maxi, two for 2500 and one for 2000. At least there's money :). I bought Monere, thinking I'll still level him up. 113 - I found two more Dragon Fly Hives in impassable terrain. I took a village. Next to it - a Dragon Utopia, but I won't make it there. 114 - I found a free external dwelling of Air Elementals! And another Dragon Fly Hive somewhere off the road. There will be a Wyvern stack, and then - it depends on how the center goes. 115 - I find an external dwelling of Birds! Right next to the road, but in a blocked direction. Tyraxor took a Log in a hut. 116 - I take a second village. I move Monere there, bring him to the bird dwelling. I position Tyraxor in front of the liches. Still haven't had a single serious fight (except for the maxi-crypt on day 112). 117 - finally, I start playing. I take a Dragon Fly Hive behind Orcish Mages - 4 Wyverns. I hit the first pack of liches. The Dragon Fly Hive is big, forget it. I hit the second pack of liches. I free the Air Elemental dwelling, I take a sword +3. Tyraxor almost reaches the bird dwelling, Monere picks up the army, takes the dwelling. I lose one bird there. I shouldn't have taken them at all. Well, at least all the Air Elementals are intact. Result - birds in a fort with a dwelling. Monere and Tyraxor are level 5, Monere with Air Elementals, Tyraxor - with Log. 121 - Monere fights in the Dwarf Cottage, I take it right away - a double. Buyout of the external dwelling, freed a prison behind a pile of Ogres, sent the released Ivor's army home, took a Dragon Fly Hive - 8 Wyverns, Monere grabs the Griffin Conservatory. Minimal, damn... But near the Ogre Fort I scouted another one. 122 - I take two more Dragon Fly Hives. 12 and 8 Wyverns, decent. Finally scouted the Ogre Fort. Scorpicores, Ghosts, Chaos Hydras. Luckily, only the Hydras need to be fought, the rest is optional. I decide not to push it yet, to clear more Dragon Fly Hives and the Eye. 123 - another 6 Wyverns, Monere replenishes mana at the village. I'm ready to fight and buyout at the center (the castle is right next to the Ogre Fort, can't even enter it without breaking through the Scorpicore). 124 - the second Griffin Conservatory taken. Tyraxor fights the Hydras, the start was good, but then morale at the wrong time. Got upset and forgot that Hydras hit everything around. Instead of 4 Wyverns I lost 8. Took the town, bought out Monere, immediately pick up the Air Tome behind a pack of Black Dragons. Lost all the Air Elementals and another 1 Wyvern. 125 - I grab Pandora's Box with Bulls for experience, level up Armorer. In a Dragon Fly Hive they give another 8 Wyverns. With Mass Haste, the Dragon Utopia can be broken now, which is what I do. Double, Tome of Fire, Dragon Crown. Well, decent. Having gotten the Tome of Fire, I attack the Scorpicore (Ogre Fort) purely with Phoenixes. Fiery Fury, Armageddon is very weak. Minus 3 birds. Meanwhile, Tyraxor has leveled Expert Earth, so I attack 99 Master Genies with him. It didn't go very well, minus an Angel. But in the prison, Malcolm level 30 with Expert Log, Fire, and Earth. I take the central town with Fly, I look - above it is a Boiling Pot behind Bone Dragons! I do Dimension Door - no such luck, it's a bag of gold... But I free Ciele level 20 from a prison, Expert Air, Earth, Water, Wisdom, she almost flies over the mountains, but then the timer runs out. 125 - the opponent is nearby. Ciele manages to grab one Dragon Fly Hive, but it's a small one. I send the army back. Monere enters the Library, takes Pandora's Box for experience and the Necklace +3 to all. I send out scouts, I see Galthran. I attack to test. Under 400 large Skeletons, 20 Wyverns, 5 Green Dragons, a couple of Angels. No Orb of the Firmament. The timer is pressing, I don't have time to come up with the best attack plan, so I just attack with the entire army with Malcolm. 3 birds, 40 Wyverns, 35 Battle Dwarves and small fry. Definitely shouldn't have taken the Angels... Armageddon for 1k deals a significant amount, but a little over 200 Skeletons and a few Wyverns remain. In response, they cast Implosion on my Wyverns and buy back. I have 7 Wyverns left, 3 birds, and 35 Battle Dwarves :). I leave a couple of heroes on the birds, and Brissa spends the night in the town with all the artifacts. 126 - the opponent makes a very bad move, trying to take the central town with Sandro, who has all the artifacts on 7 single Skeletons without mana. Along the way, Sandro in Shackles attacks Malcolm. Nothing to kill the bird with, GG. Otherwise I would have lost both Malcolm and Monere, and the central town, and would have been left with who knows what against the terrible Galthran... Thank you for the game!
