Ominous Misfortune

Tonight, the city held a festival where every resident could boast about their archery skills. Arrows successfully hit targets and brought victory to those who fired them; however, not everyone who shot participated in the Competitive event. Two arrows struck residents. The archer who made one of the shots was sitting on the roof and happily noted that she had hit her target perfectly. As she prepared to leave, she noticed a raven perched behind her. Her eyes filled with fear and silent pleading. Larisa was ready to beg, just so the bird wouldn't begin its fateful song. It seemed to her that the raven smiled ominously, and in the next moment, it began to caw. During all this commotion, one of the residents went missing. Mortulus spent the whole night in church, praying. Sezam felt melancholy and paranoid at the same time; she thought someone invisible was watching her.
