According to the latest information, they promise to release both a new patch version, meaning you'll have to download another 100+ MB, and a hotfix, which is a small update for those who have already downloaded the patch, so they won't have to reinstall the game, but simply fix the bug.

As mentioned in the previous post, a new version of the patch has been released. It is available for download on Ubi: http://patches.ubi.com/heroes_might_magic_5/heroes_might_magic_5_2.01_rus.exe (size 115MB). For those who have already downloaded the patch, a separate .exe file has been released. It needs to be placed instead of the old one, and the runes will start working. The file was provided by CrazyPill from the Hugo forum: http://pills.crazypill.ru/hmm5/H5v21fixed.rar (size 3.2MB). P.S. A small tip from me. For those who have downloaded the original patch, feel free to download the update; it's only 3.2 MB, and I've already verified that it fixes the runes. However, if you haven't downloaded the patch yet and are experiencing download problems (dial-up, limited bandwidth, slow speed, etc.), don't rush to download the new one (even though it's already on Ubi, which indirectly confirms its reliability); it's better to wait for confirmation that everything is working correctly.

Has anyone figured out the changes in training? As I understand it, training has become very expensive.

I might be wrong, but I think they limited the number of units you can train in a week, but HOORAY!!! They introduced an extensive discount system for training. Now you don't have to worry about the constant lack of funds. I haven't tried it myself yet, though, so I'm just going by what others have said. P.S. If anyone finds specific numbers about the changes, please share the link. I would appreciate it.

Why cut it? It was simply radically reworked, and the principle of its operation was changed...

This topic should be renamed – the title should only include 2.1, as 1.41 doesn't differ in gameplay mechanics from 1.4.
