Please help, I've tried everything, but I can't install patch 2.1 on a "clean" version of the game. 1.4 installs fine, but 2.1 doesn't, and it displays a message like this:

So, patch 2.1 was created specifically for the "Hammers of Fate" expansion! This means that the patch will not work on the base game; first, install the expansion, and then install patch 2.1.

And is the add-on sold separately, or can it also be downloaded online?

Well, you can download the add-on, but it only installs on the licensed, "clean" version of the game. Regarding downloading, I downloaded it myself, and it installs fine... but I also bought the licensed disc, not because I'm stupid, but because I love the Heroes series, and I hope that my 500 rubles (for the game + add-on) will bring prosperity and contribute to the further development and improvement of the game.

Hi! Sorry for going off-topic, but as someone who knows and understands this game, HELP! Or maybe you can at least point me toward something... I bought a licensed copy of Hammers of Fate. Everything installed fine. But in the game, some triangular planes appear, heroes, skill screens, and the minimap are flickering, and there are some stripes. Video card is Sapphire 1800XT, downloaded the freshest drivers, 7.1, reinstalled DirectX, also fresh. I don't know what to do... Maybe you can suggest something or direct me to someone...
