Good topic. Back when I was a student, I spent a lot of time playing Civilization II with a group of friends, and we had intense battles on a single computer. My nickname was tasteless and awful: VAMPIR RADIOACTIVE (remember the atomic bomb in the game – I used it mercilessly against enemies). That's how "vamrad" came about. It's my first hero nickname. My second hero nickname, "Nagan," appeared almost by chance. About seven or eight years ago, I registered on a forum where many talented and intelligent people posted. I was very proud that they accepted me into their ranks... It was great for about a year and a half, until the conflict. Then a conflict broke out on the forum, and after that, about 20 people from both sides were permanently banned. I jumped in to support my friends... and I was banned as well. My original nickname was "Narval." I was very upset that they treated me that way, so I registered again under a similar nickname, "Nagan." But after losing my friends there, I had nothing to do. Since then, I've vowed never to get involved in conflicts, because there are no winners, and in the end, only losers remain.

Vegtamr (Old Norse: "one who is accustomed to the road, a traveler") is one of many names for Odin. I registered in one game playing as dwarves, and there was a requirement for nicknames to fit the atmosphere. I looked through a book on mythology, chose the best name in terms of meaning and sound, and called myself "Skald Vegtamr," later shortening it.

I like plants, especially trees. And somehow, I also came to like the wooden elements from Heroes of Might and Magic V. But calling myself "Ent" would be uninteresting, even a bit silly. So, I'm Ment. And since I never use Cyrillic when giving a "computer" name to something, I'm Ment.

Full nickname: Ilg’drassell Olasiirden Torenlavar. I came up with this nickname because I really like one of the characters from Winx Club. Specifically, the headmistress of Cloud Tower named Griffin. Since the name/surname is too common (due to its prevalence) for such a sorceress, I invented a new name for her, and also added a patronymic and surname. It should be noted that the name, patronymic, and surname are Dark Elf, which is very suitable for such a pale-skinned and gothic lady.
