In the first game the setup was in my favor, implementing it wasn't difficult. Let Amiloo describe the rest :)

I drafted a fairly playable hand on 112 and got a rather poor Inferno respawn against Dungeon. Actually, it wasn't all that bad — I built Pits in the Citadel, Grindan leveled Oil and got Boots +1+1, but the opponent's exit was too close to me and along the only road from my secondary hero. So I never made it into the treasure zone and was forced to defend at home. The opponent captured my level-2 Griffin Conservatory right under my nose and attacked. Even then, thanks to the shooters, I could have fought back, but honestly, I openly admit I didn't know that losing the ammo cart would deprive the shooters of unlimited ammo xD So I surrendered at home, mercilessly shot down by Medusas.

From the start, Calh arrived; on day 1 I built a thousand, and on day 2 I captured the Gold Mine with 20+ Nomads. Without much difficulty I built 12456 in the Citadel and by 117 a second Gold Mine. By 121 I broke into the treasure zone, where two days later I could have run into a cockroach with an army, but I was scared without a spell book and instead wasted myself in the Naga Bank and fled home :)
After collecting the week 3 growth, I run into the second treasure zone, where I find 2 mini-reliquaries, some money, the Orb of Earth, and a box of experience. The opponent doesn't try to block me — I already realize things aren't great there. But I don't want to force my way in — I have 2 Griffin Conservatories and Hat +4 at home. I fight my way home, pick up +3 and +2 Angels, get 70 mana, and calmly consume all the bonuses on my half. Among them is a quest for 10k exp. On week 4 I finished the upgrade to Gogs and went on the attack.
The opponent attempted to pull a sneaky trick with quest Greater Basilisks, but I had the first turn with Greater Efreeti, Oil, and Tactics. GG, thanks everyone for the games and the tournament!

I confirm. In the first game, I didn't place a nag :( In the second week, a clash could have happened, but my opponent avoided it, and I lost in that turn on a group of minotaurs. After that, there was some attempt to catch up through magic or quests, but it was useless. Thank you for the games and congratulations on winning the tournament; it was about time you won something. Good luck in the future.

Thank you to all my opponents for the tournament; this time, I was very close, but luck wasn't on my side, although I definitely can't complain about luck during the tournament. Thank you to everyone who supported me; surprisingly, there were many, and that's very nice. :)

I unfortunately missed all the games, but that doesn't diminish my congratulations.

I also want to join in the congratulations. I watched the games, but it seems that in the first game, Amilu wouldn't have been able to win the final even if he had killed the caravan – 8 Vipers and about 25 Medusas provided a significant advantage in terms of creatures, and that many Medusas in melee combat would have made their presence felt.

Congratulations to amiloo – you deserved it (you participated in all the tournaments after all =)). Of course, the last games were a bit delayed, or even a lot, but I think that can be forgiven at this stage. The tournament, as usual, had a good amount of drama, which is always a good thing Overall, I'm happy with the result, and I hope the viewers and players got a lot of enjoyment Thanks to everyone, and happy New Year!

Amiloo, congratulations! I'm glad I didn't destroy that ballista in our epic game. I wouldn't have won the tournament anyway, so it turns out I lost to the winner.

Congratulations on your victory! I always believed in you, even during the draw :) Did you think you would go this far? What goals did you set for yourself in this tournament?

I want to make it clear: I participated in this tournament with only one goal - to finally win this damn championship. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, victory has repeatedly eluded me, and of course, I had a well-thought-out plan. This time, I was determined to play only to win and tried to execute it as effectively as possible. Actually, I only deviated from this approach in the final, got a little nervous, and messed up a good game, which I paid for. But thank God, I managed to recover. :smile13:

Who was the most difficult and easiest opponent for you during the tournament?

It's hard to say who was the easiest; the first rounds passed quickly, and I can barely remember those games. The most difficult was definitely against Pete, simply because I lost four games in a row to him in one of the finals, and it was very difficult to overcome the negative morale from the start. But I still managed to stay calm and win that match, probably a transition from quantity to quality, i.e., experience is slowly starting to make a difference.

Tell us, champion, who is the overpowered faction on M200? =)

The Dungeon faction on M200 is ridiculously overpowered! :D
I won't go into detail about why, but when you start with the Dungeon faction on M200, you know you won't lose the game due to a bad start. You'll definitely have something to fight with; this Castle really has a lot of tools for effective gameplay on M. In my opinion, I mercilessly crushed opponents with the Dungeon faction. :)

And did you crush everyone with your information advantage? Is it comfortable to play with?

Actually, it's just a coincidence. Although I can't deny that it's comfortable for me to play with, I'm too familiar with the Castle's features and units, which allows me not to spend a lot of time preparing for battles. And this is often a decisive factor in this format. It's really much easier to play with a small time limit when you have pre-prepared templates for conducting certain battles with a specific set of troops. In general, the Castle is a bit weak for M200, except for the classic build, of course. ;)

What do you think of the rules and the new patch for M200? You've played in absolutely all the tournaments in this series; tell us how it has evolved over these 3 years.

There were 2 minutes, and that was really fun :) The level was completely different, but it was incredibly entertaining :) Then, when the time limit was extended to 4 minutes, the game became more thoughtful, the strategies became more sophisticated, and skilled players joined. Later, Mr. Zidar showed everyone that you can spend 30 minutes planning all the details of future actions during a battle, the main thing is to find someone to attack. In general, this is normal and within the rules, but I personally didn't do it and couldn't do it (it just feels unpleasant to waste your opponent's time like that). Therefore, I consider the current tournament format to be a natural result of its evolution; the patch fits perfectly, and the time limit is excellent. In other words, in my opinion, there's not much left to change now. :)
