25.05.2013 Gomunguls(Red,random,Castle,Rion,Gunnar)def Pit for LM (Blue,random,Dungeon,Shakti,Shakti)Jebus Cross,1.2.3
Played on L with 1 rest, but we didn't take it. I open the overview, see a market and Dragon Utopia, decide to play... there is Gunnar and a stable near the town. On the first turn, I placed angels in the castle; by 121, tempo was already 3840 due to boots and the stable; on 122, I break the Dragon Utopia, losing 2 couriers, sustain, and 2 vivs... next turn I place archangels and one-shot 5 angels, left 1 at home... then I break ГО from 20+ gr monsters and attack. The advantage in stats, red orb, and archangels decided it in FB.
Thanks for the game!!!

26.05.13 Alexey-omsk (blue, Inferno, Xarfax, Clavius) def The_ (red, Tower, Solmyr, Solmyr) 2sm2c 143

It was a fun game. On the respawn there was nothing but gold, which is certainly not bad, but not great either. A starting hero with 15 imps was also not encouraging. Then Isra appeared in the tavern, and it became clear that the only chance in this game was to necro skeletons. The Griffin Conservatory 2-4 was scouted. The secondary town was snow-covered, the exit was at the top — in short, the second Castle was not taken quickly, but luckily there was enough gold, and the efreet were placed in the citadel on the first. Next, Clavius with 30 skeletons in the tavern. I break through 8 upgraded unicorns into the central zone — there's a stable and nothing else good there, except for gold, of course. In the center I take a couple of crypts, one is maxed and has a decent cloak +3 to spell duration. On day 131 I break through 60 upgraded demons for a Pandora's Box, and there's all the earth magic for the not-so-wise Clavius :( By the way, Goshak helped, arriving in the tavern with 60 skeletons. Then I run to the top, take the Griffin Conservatory, and position myself in front of the teleporter on the speed boost. On day 137 I take the opponent's Castle, buy nagas and mages there. Then I run to the arena for +2 attack, because I felt it would be needed. The opponent's stats show 9 10 16 13 against my 8 6 3 4 :( I think, what could help me — not entirely clear — I run to my Castle on a whim. Then the opponent attacks, but there's almost no army there: 9 angels, 15 monks, 28 dwarves, and some other small stuff.
And the battle was epic. I have -2 morale, the opponent has -1. Luckily I have expert tactics — without it, it would probably have been GG right away. In general, the first two rounds the angels stand still. The opponent's lightning at 500 damage kills two angels. I cast haste on the skeletons, in the next round slow on the angels, but due to the morale penalty on the angels, I can't kill 1 gargoyle, and the opponent casts mass haste. But then the angels suffer from bad morale. A real balance of morale swings. Well, the angels fall, and I cast slow on the dwarves, and on the third consecutive turn, the angels don't get bad morale, and it's GG.

Thanks for the game!
Morale, of course, decides everything.

Then I run to the arena for +2 attack, because I felt it would be needed. The opponent has visible stats of 9 10 16 13 against my 8 6 3 4 :( I think, what can help me? Not entirely clear, I run to my castle on a whim. Then the opponent attacks, but there's almost no army there: 9 griffins, 15 monks, 28 dwarves, and some miscellaneous units.
And the battle was epic. I have -2 morale, the opponent has -1. Fortunately, I have expert tactics; without it, it would probably have been GG right away. Morale, of course, decides everything.

Confirmed.
I managed to lose a situation that is unwinnable for the opponent =). Simply by attacking a naga bank without checking first (there were 30 nagas; the last few naga banks had at most 16 nagas, I had already forgotten that large ones exist), losing almost everything there, and then 9 archangels got torn apart for a +6 all stats hat. In short, I played poorly, one of the most bitter defeats. And the negative morale on the griffins in the final battle became a just punishment for bad play.
Thanks for the game.

25.05.2013 The_ (red, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti) def rockmachine (blue, Rampart, Ivor, Ivor) 2sm4(3) 212.

A terrible start, one road to the secondary, the other two blocked by storms and upgraded wolves, I break through that mess with a loss of 25 Troglodytes. One of the scout heroes finds a Conservatory, things get merrier; Shakti goes to take the secondary, but then the second scout hero finds a dragon dwelling and another Conservatory deep in the base, I decide to spit on everything and by any means necessary take the dwelling and build a portal. The guard is 40 Magma Elementals; God only knows how I break through them with 90 Troglodytes, 11 Evil Eyes, and a handful of units. After that, 75 Troglodytes remain, plus an off-buy from a prison hero of 4 gogs and 20 imps. Again, miraculously, with this "army," I kill the dragons, leaving 20 Troglodytes, but I have a dragon. On day 6, I build a marketplace, and on day 7, after exchanging everything down to zero, I build the portal and buy the dragon.
On the second week, I take the secondary; I steal another dragon dwelling there, though they're bone dragons now, I give the bone dragons to the scout hero who's running around clearing the respawn. I deploy Shakti and run to the respawn to take the Conservatories; fortunately, with 4 dragons and already decent stats 11-8, even the third one falls without problems, losing the off-buy. 2 Conservatories for 5 angels.
At the end of the third/beginning of the fourth week, I run underground; there's another Conservatory and a Dungeon village =), I portal in dragons. The opponent, meanwhile, bursts in via pathfinding onto my Necropolis secondary, taking my castle and the bone dwelling (not too upset, only the red dragons portal now). But he built an annoying Veil of Darkness, and the whole respawn went dark.
I, with 9 dragons, 7 angels, and the off-buy, take the home Dragon Utopia, losing the off-buy, the result: boots +2 all stats, shield +12, black orb, and some amulet. I run to the opponent's castle and block all the exits and entrances to the castle with Shakti, waiting for the delivery of meat and 3 red dragons. While waiting, with nothing better to do, I break through a Griffin Conservatory of devils, and return to the opponent's castle, but I got so relaxed that I missed the moment of a new week and simply skipped a turn, giving the opponent a small chance. Since my army consisted of only 7 angels, 9 reds, 7 medusas, 24 Evil Eyes. The opponent doesn't miss the buying opportunity and attacks with the new growth.
The opponent's army: 5 green dragons, 22 war horses, over 30 dendroids, 50 dwarves, 60 grand elves, 3 angels, and Centaurs. But the stat difference is very large, so the opponent breaks against me, killing 7 dragons and 1 angel, while losing his entire army.
Thanks for the game.

26.05.2013 ShKENT (blue, Rampart, Ivor, Gunnar) def rockmachine (red, Castle, Valessa, Valessa) 211 2sm4(3).

Ivor came with 4 elves, I immediately realized I had to play.

I decided to make Gunnar my main, having watched how skilled guys go deep into the main without a road with all their might, I decided to repeat it, alas and alack found only an experience stone and a couple of chests.

On the second week I broke through to a secondary hero, revealed the scout view, it was about 5 days to the castle, turned around and went to break through the exit to the secondary hero near the ГО. I broke through, nearby the scout view reveals I see the opponent, turned around and took Griffin Conservatory 2. Got defeated and went to take the external dwelling of horses, after it the Hive for unicorns, blind morale, bye bye angel.

On weeks 3 and 4 I went into the treasure zone, collected 40 Wyverns, took Griffin Conservatory 1 and a Dragon Utopia (double) with КЗ and КВ, little Gunnar though was without earth magic (had air, but I never found Haste).

Got defeated and went to the opponent, through the secondary hero I positioned myself in the path from the castle, the opponent pulled out all the meat with a scout hero and brought out Valessa. Little Gunnar covers the scout hero and Valessa. Big advantage in might, followed by surrender.

Thanks for the game.

26.05.2013 ShKENT (blue, ramport, Ivor, Gunar) def rockmachine (red, Castle, Valeska, Valeska) 211 2sm4(3).

Ivor arrived with 4 elves, and I immediately realized it was time to play.

I decided to build Gunar as a "folder," having watched how skilled players go deep into the main map off-road with all their power; I decided to try it myself. Alas and ah, I only found an experience stone and a couple of chests.

On the second week, I broke through to the secondary zone and spotted the overview. It was a 5-day run to the Castle, so I turned around and went to clear the exit to the secondary zone near ГО. After clearing it, I saw a candle nearby—aha!—turned back and took Griffin Conservatory 2. I fought and then went to take the external dwelling of horses, followed by the hive for unicorns; blind morale, bye-bye angel.

On the 3rd and 4th weeks, I went into the treasure zone and collected 40 vivs, took Griffin Conservatory 1 and Dragon Utopia (double) from КЗ and КВ. Gunar was actually without Earth (had Air, but I still didn't find haste).

I fought and headed toward the opponent; via the secondary zone, I stood in the path from the Castle. The opponent pulled all the meat with a pawn and brought out Valeska. Gunar crushed the pawn and Valeska. A huge power advantage follows, then surrender.

Thanks for the game.

26.05.2013 sOrcerror (blue, Necropolis, Galthran) def steklyash (red, Fortress, Tazar) "Long Run" 147.

The game started with me zoning out on the template selection and instead of Jebus Cross we started on the unknown template Long Run. During the game it turned out that the template is an elongated line with single passageways and small (very small) branches into minor areas like secondary zones and underdeveloped treasure zones.

Week 1, Galthran wandered back and forth, everything was quite bleak. For some reason I was afraid to go into the treasure zone right away and lost a week of tempo. I had no sulfur for Liches and later for Horses, and I only had a pitiful hundred Skeletons.
Week 2, I entered the first poor treasure zone and stubbornly cleared it until the middle of week 3. During this time, Goshun still didn't get Oil, although a ton of GM1 were built in all towns. During the clearing in this poor treasure zone, 3 Griffin Conservatories were eaten, but ALL were level 1 units! (and they were located quite far from the roads)
Middle of week 3 - I entered the rich treasure zone, where I got Wings, Shackles, and cleared 2 Dragon Utopias, getting only money and a Red Orb as valuable loot. I managed to take an Angel external dwelling on turn 137.
Week 4, I finished clearing the treasure zone, finally got Oil, built the town and Archangels (didn't have time to upgrade), approached the passage to THE MOST central treasure zone, broke one of the double Guardian Gates, saw the Observation Tower, took it, and saw another Griffin Conservatory still in my treasure zone. Movement points ran out, and on the opponent's turn I saw from the edge of the Observation Tower how he was running around in the central treasure zone. On turn 147, I calmly took the Griffin Conservatory, flew over the mountains, and in one turn broke both the secondary hero with the entire army and Tazar on the march. GG WP, thanks to the opponent for a strong game!

We played by no-holds-barred rules. My draw was pretty good - plenty of gold, Conflux opponent, on the first week I found 3 Griffin Conservatories and a Dragon Fly Hive, took out the opponent, who had built 2k, dwellings 1-6 in the Castle. On the second week I took Conservatories 1+2, the third was a bit far and I never captured it until the end of the game, then I went to my corner treasure zone, where I did joins - 14 Efreeti, 6 Titans, 40 Dendroids and took a couple of Dragon Fly Hives... there was nothing else useful there, but the treasury became decent. Then I went to the center, and from there a quick passage to the opponent... I ran to him and attacked Tazar in the Castle: the final battle was quite tense, but the advantage in meat and the opponent's mistake helped. Thanks for the game!

I managed to lose a setup that is unlosable =). Simply by attacking a Naga Bank without checking first (there were 30 Nagas, but the last few Naga Banks I'd seen had at most 16 Nagas, so I'd forgotten that big ones exist), losing almost everything there, and then 9 Archangels also shredded me for a Cap of +6 All Stats. In short, I played terribly, one of the most painful defeats. And the morale penalty on the ducks in the Fortress Boundary was a just punishment for poor play.

On the second week, I take the secondary town, clear another external Dragon dwelling there, this time Bone Dragons. I give the Bone Dragons to the scout hero, who runs around clearing respawn. I send Shakti to the respawn to take the Griffin Conservatories; fortunately, with 4 Dragons and decent stats of 11-8, even the third one falls without issue, losing the pickup. 2 Conservatories for 5 Angels.
At the end of the third / start of the fourth week, I run underground — there's another Conservatory and a Dungeon town =). I portal the Dragons. But he builds that annoying Veil of Darkness, and the entire respawn is shrouded in darkness.

26.05.2013 The_ (red, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti) def Akella (blue, Citadel, Deesa, Deesa) JC 135.

First week, two external dwellings of Minotaurs are immediately visible - right next to each other. I clear them on day 111 with 35 Serpent Flies for a +6 sword, losing a considerable number of Troglodytes. I take the external dwellings. One of them was guarded by 86 Mummies, and since there was also loot (artifact +1+1 knowledge, spell power), I had trouble kiting them with units of Harpies and 90 Troglodytes. Next, two Dragon Fly Hives (6+12) are taken, losing all Troglodytes and 2 Minotaurs =). Another Dragon Fly Hive is taken via a chain, and a secondary hero is seized. Two Griffin Conservatories are visible in another part of the map. I split with Shakti and run there. The first Conservatory is a level 2 one, and there is also a Dragon Fly Hive there, plus 6 more Wyverns. I run to the second Conservatory and, through scouting, reveal 3 Dragon external dwellings!

Second week, I take all the Dragon external dwellings. I also take another 3 Dragon Fly Hives, a Conservatory, and seize an artifact +3 to all stats. At 213, Shakti with 200 mana goes to break the GO, but at the last moment I decide to check the home Dragon Utopia to have money for Dragons (for construction). The Dragon Utopia is a level 3 one. I lose two Red Dragons there, as there was almost no consumption (the Dragon Utopia turned out to be junk; it gave a level 5 hat, the only useful thing, the Air spellbook, a Red Orb, and a Pendant). Behind the Dragon Utopia, a +12 sword is visible. I clear it via a chain as well, and there is also another Dragon Fly Hive and an Earth power-up. I take those with stacks of Lizardmen as well, and somehow day 126 arrives unnoticed. I decide it's better to boost myself before the GO than to move 2 centimeters into the center. On day 127, I break the Cyclopes. Shakti's stats are 26-14-14-14.

On the third week, I take a couple of Pandoras' Boxes - experience and all magic, a couple of Hives. I capture the Inferno town. On the main hero, Black Dragons await. I see that the opponent has cleared his GO, but it is a doubled one, and he doesn't have enough meat for the second GO. The opponent stays in the town, which was right behind the first GO. Shakti replenishes mana, flies for Black Dragons, and attacks. The difference in meat and stats is gigantic. The Fireball ends in one turn.

Thanks for the game!

25.05.2013 Gomunguls(Red,random,Castle,Rion,Gunnar)def Pit for LM (Blue,random,Dungeon,Shakti,Shakti)Jebus Cross,1.2.3

Yep, lost again :D.
Basically, everything was fine - a great start for random - Dungeon with Shakti and 3 stacks, on 112 I took an external dwelling of dragons, on 113 - the second one. In the Pandora's Box I got 80 troglodytes. By the end of the week I captured the Sentinel's Shield. Unfortunately, that's where all the good stuff ended. One Dragon Fly Hive - 8 Wyverns, a Pandora's Box with all the earth magic but no wisdom - that's it, absolutely nowhere to level up, nothing for speed. There are also 2 Utopias, but nothing to take them with.
Alright, on 121 I bust the ГО from a horde of nagas, it was a tough fight (I wasted a lot of troglodytes out of stupidity, offense wasn't fully upgraded, no mass magic), behind them - a horde of unicorns. I somehow kill those too, take a Pandora's Box with all the fire magic (again, naturally, without wisdom :D) and a Pandora's Box with experience - at least I got earth magic maxed and received a Pathfinder. The minimal Dragon Fly Hive only restored the Wyverns I had lost. On 122 I managed to grab the Book of Earth, defeated the red orb (big mistake - I defeated it for my opponent :smile05: However, he had his own, so no big deal :D). That's when I got crushed. 6 dragons and 150 troglodytes just can't win against 5 Archangels and a stat advantage...
I guess I could have saved a couple moves somewhere and after capturing КЗ on 122 managed to portal back to the capital for the Utopias, but that wouldn't have helped against Gunnar with 4k MP and control anyway :smile34:

Thanks for the game.
