And, by the way, we have a penalty for withdrawing from tournaments in our blacklist. I don't know what we're waiting for; a ban for six months to a year would be perfect for those who have lost motivation.
Ban them. I perfectly understand that this is not the right way to do it.
In my defense, I can say that after the main tournament of the resource turned into a fun experiment, there is no interest in playing anymore. Because I signed up not to participate, but to win. And the Swiss format implies a painless withdrawal for others. In the group stage, I would have to force myself to finish playing so as not to let down the other participants.

Why not announce an HvC Cup, in which everyone who scores at least 1-2 points out of 7 in OFB can participate? This would motivate players to fight for every point. Moreover, the more points someone scores in OFB, the later they can join the cup.
I played like a complete idiot, the 100500 loss is well deserved.
With the opponent we exhausted all restarts, then we restarted another game on day 115 due to the lack of ГО and finally started this one.
Castle, two artifacts for the elixir nearby, a single Griffin Conservatory, several hives. Week one went by quickly and without fights, I decided to invest everything in a rush to Archers, gathering resources with all eight heroes. On day 115 I "magnificently" take the single Griffin Conservatory - deciding not to buy all the meat from the Castle, I lose everything including the Angel. On day 116 I buy back the meat and kill the last 4 Griffins, so there's an Angel again. With this Angel I clear Crypts and Dwarf Cottages.
Week two. I decided on my main - it's the fish with Tactics. She has Earth Magic, but she just can't level up Wisdom and Expert Earth Magic - without that I don't risk hitting ГО - the Archers. I run around the main looking for goodies. I clear a couple of Pandoras, but without Wisdom I don't risk taking them, I really want control.
Week three. I have Archers(?), but still no main. After the hero from the tavern - Sanya, an expert in Eagle Eye, gets Expert Earth Magic (Offense also there), I switch to her, break through ГО on day 137(?). The treasure zone is full of tasty things, I take Wings, find the third artifact for the elixir, break deeper into the treasure zone. At this time, Kyrre enters the treasure zone and pushes me out of it. I grab everything that's lying around loosely (sword +5) and Town Portal back, Kyrre runs around the treasure zone for a week and clears Dragon Utopias. I finish clearing the edge of the treasure zone closest to me, I can't go far out. At the moment of leaving - I rushed for the red sphere, Kyrre intercepts me, he already has full control and stats x2. Implosion on Implosion, gg but re.
The game from my side is terrible, no tempo, considering the treasure zone layout (weak with mass Slow guards, tasty artifacts), I should have entered it on day 12x and consumed it completely in two weeks. The leveling on the respawn is poor, running around in different directions without priorities. Shame on me.
Ban him. I perfectly understand that this is not the right thing to do.

Painless only for the one who withdraws. For everyone else, it's always very unpleasant, especially for the organizer. The system of the tournament doesn't matter here, because it is agreed upon directly before the start of the tournament, and by signing up, you take on certain obligations that should be fulfilled, at least out of respect for the organizer and other participants. Besides, you still have a chance to get into the final bracket, because 7 people will be selected in the end, and you already have 1 point. If you win the rest, you will have 5 out of 7 points, which will most likely be enough to get into the top seven.
Пусть мой враг будет силен и страшен. Если я поборю его, то не буду чувствовать стыда.

You can't motivate people who drop out after a couple of lost games with additional cups and sub-cups. Instead of inventing additional incentives, you need to think carefully before signing up for a tournament – whether you can complete it, whether the format suits you, etc. Why poke around in everything possible?
Пусть мой враг будет силен и страшен. Если я поборю его, то не буду чувствовать стыда.
since the main tournament of the resource turned into a fun experiment, there is no interest in playing further.
I repeat, this is not the main tournament, it is just a selection round. And regarding withdrawals, it's a personal matter. If you want to, you can withdraw. It's not mandatory here. Personally, I have no complaints or questions about this. The only downside is that many newcomers would like to play a tournament against Javdet himself, and they are deprived of this pleasure.
In any case, the rules must be followed, and violations should be punished accordingly. If there was a violation, then it happened. Darkello has the right to technical support. If he decided that he needs it, then he needs it.
Golden words, violated – get punished, let's end this topic, I will learn from my mistakes.
The rules must be followed, and technical losses should be awarded regardless of darkello's opinion in this case, because asking him puts the person in an ambiguous situation and compromises them. Why should some people get away with breaking the rules while others don't? They broke the rules – we checked the rules, recorded the result, and that's it. Sometimes, the sheer naivety of whiners who fight for imaginary justice is astonishing. "If he had won, it would have been different..." Nowhere in normal competitions are rule violations tolerated. There are very interesting points in the biathlon rules: if a person arrives at the shooting range and accidentally turns the rifle away from the range, or puts their poles on a neighboring mat, or, for example, loses a cartridge or for some other reason calls the referee out loud, they will receive a penalty for all of this and much more, because you can't shout at the shooting range, only raise your hand; there are many things you can't do, but if a person does it accidentally, they won't be forgiven because the law is harsh but applies equally to everyone, regardless of the circumstances.
Regarding withdrawals, I fully agree with numOne. Perhaps some people have become complacent and are firmly stuck in their own egocentrism, not paying attention to others, or not realizing that doing so is simply rude. GUYS, ANY WITHDRAWAL undermines the tournament; please remember this, and once again, please register only when you are sure that your delicate body will not fall apart under the incredibly heavy pressure of defeat.

I completely agree with numOne regarding withdrawals. Some people have probably become too comfortable and are stuck in their own egocentrism, not paying attention to others, or not realizing that doing so is simply rude. Who are you to judge others and say whether they are "too comfortable" or not? Have you started a fashion show here? By "lost motivation," I meant the heroes themselves. Before writing your lengthy posts, you should think, right?
Day 115 - 8 heroes, the only external dwelling at the respawn is dwarves, only 7 elves, the log won’t level up... a sad sight... And then on 116, after visiting the lookout tower, I find an external dwelling of unicorns, and with one of the heroes - a dungeon town... Now our plan is to portal them... BUT dwarves come through the portal... On the second week there’s practically nothing to do, I find another external dwelling of horned ones, the respawn is small and pathetic, I’m a bit frustrated with the tactics. I was thinking of hitting the GO on 124-125, but I find a Griffin Conservatory 2 in 2 days from the dungeon and decide to wait until 131. 127 - Dragons in the castle. 131 - Kirr before the GO at full speed. 132 - No mass slow, no mass haste, but I’m afraid the opponent is already in the center and I decide to punch through the GO (horde of Death Knights). I break through with loss of angels and meat in the form of skeletons, dwarves, dendroids. At the fork I go down, take the castle - swamp, collect pandora’s boxes, beat the Dragon Utopia. In one of the boxes I find 3 arch devils.
As soon as I leveled up expert air, it became easier, now I constantly check the opponent’s hero positions through the air view.
On 141 the opponent punches through the GO, I go to meet him and... oh miracle, ahead I see the Air Book, I quickly beat it, then chase the opponent to the Inferno castle. I take the center. Both have full control - we run and jump, the opponent collects Dragon Fly Hives, I get artifacts + Dragon Utopias. For the last skill I fish out Earth Magic, and in one of the Dragon Utopias I find the Earth Book. I wanted to attack from my respawn, but the opponent kills one of my heroes in the center and doesn’t teleport into the castle. So on my turn I gather power, beat the Shackles, and wearing them, attack.
Who are you to judge others and say whether they are spoiled or not? They've started this trend of giving out harsh judgments! By "lost motivation," I meant the heroes themselves. Before writing your lengthy posts, you should think, right?
Who are you to judge my statement, which is simply a statement of facts? Did you think about it? Did you not like the word? I'll be more gentle - they've become arrogant with the wording of tournament disqualifications.
One of those who has never withdrawn from tournaments, there were many reasons for withdrawal, not counting the demotivating factor, and everyone has them, but it is now obvious that it has become a trend to withdraw for all sorts of trivial reasons (I am not talking about really valid reasons), so it is becoming increasingly difficult to remain silent about this. After all, you try to do your best for each player...

I'm afraid you won't understand my emotions, at least not right now. Those who have played Heroes extensively, and to the point where they see it not just as a pleasant pastime but as a sport where the result matters, and which depends on how well you play, will understand them. That's why various mirrored templates are created, and tournaments are held to identify the strongest players like Stinger and Alex, who prefer to play 8mm6 instead of CMK. I hope I've now explained the loss of motivation after playing "Heads or Tails"?
By the way, I wasn't participating in tournaments before either, and if I had known that such a decision might hinder someone in the distribution of points, I wouldn't have done it.
I broke 121 in desert and took tower town very close to opponent area. I build observatory there and all i need is to wait for Kyrre to come out and kill him. He came on 1.2.6 and had no chance. Thx for game!
