The starting zone is strange, and the map layout is even stranger. I rushed in and lost half my army; it was impossible to win the autobattle.
Thanks to my opponent for suggesting the autobattle, but this is a tournament, unfortunately. I wish him luck in the remaining matches! He's a very polite and fair player, and it was a pleasure playing against him.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I am withdrawing from the tournament. Yes, it's a bad thing to do, it's not very sportsmanlike, and yes, I will be rightfully added to the blacklist for withdrawing, but I've completely lost my motivation to play... when there's no motivation, the game just doesn't work... I really hope you'll forgive me... and good luck to everyone in the tournament!
Roughly, I took 40 Gnolles, 25 Lizardmen, and 3 Musketeers. Losses were 7-9 Gnolles and 1 Muskteer. The Wistan was level 5 with expert marksmanship, but it wasn't a huge deal. http://ru.twitch.tv/romariogrom/b/377609974#
Great take! Interesting effect – in the 2nd round, the group of Gnolles has the opportunity to attack the Lizardmen or the Serpent, covering the Lizardmen, but for some reason, they attack the Gnolles.
There don't seem to be any problems with the opponent; we've added each other to our ICQ contact lists. But what's the point...? Out of five scheduled matches, since I wasn't available, he won four of them. If he's available this weekend, we'll play; if not, then we won't.
10.03.2013. MaxGor (blue, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti) lose GoD (red, Castle, Valeska, Vistan) 6lm10a 143 Took all the rests and started playing on luck. In the tavern Laura, no Harpies, appeared in the underground, meaning no money either. Took the external Troglodytes, see an external of Minotaurs, but there's also a campfire and a hive covered by 10+ gre. Wyverns, won't take it on the first week((( Head to the far portal trying to make a rest by encounter, but there's a pink comp there... Take his castle without a fight and stay on his respawn for the 2nd week to earn money. Opp takes out the Inferno comp during this time. On the 3rd week I find my native town. Finally take the external of Minotaurs, come up to the surface and from the scout view I see how GoD, having 10+ Angels, takes a Dragon Utopia. On the 4th week opp sets up his factory for producing demons and skeletons in one person, but I fight with a scout hero and my losses are also big. I take a Castle from the comp, but there are no angels((( During the whole game I saw 2 Griffin Conservatories and both through walls, so nothing to counter GoD's angels. I capitulate. Thanks for the game
I confirm. We got rekt thoroughly. The respawn played surprisingly very well for a game without rests, even despite the fact that there are only 21 archers total including the buyout, but for the first time in all generations they are built up. The scout hero reveals the scout view. What we see: a Griffin Conservatory, a Dragon Fly Hive + a ring on HP + resources for 10-19 Psychos, a Stable, 2 Crypts, 4 stat boosters (3 close not far from the castle and 1 near the castle on the road), a Metro for 20-49 gre. Orcs, and another Griffin Conservatory far away and it's unclear whether it's on my respawn or not, and the only way to check is by breaking through the Orcs behind the Metro, since they block the possible passage to that Conservatory. On the only road there are 50-99 Hobbits, so I don't run straight down the road but do a run-up and take the Crypts and the Stable, while Vistan, who is heading towards the folders, runs along the stat boosters. Checked the first Griffin Conservatory - a two-stack with a gre. stack, perfect for Val who has leveled up decently already - expert Archery, advanced Leadership and Water. On 115 Vistan, who was standing before the Hobbits, gets 2 Champions delivered through the Stables, he bypasses the Halflings and runs further and falls asleep waiting for delivery at the Dwarf Cottage. On 116 we take the Dwarf Cottage for 100 and further down the road, a zone on lava - there's a one-way portal and a Metro, slightly above the Metro another Conservatory is revealed. We enter the Metro and on 117 kill both heroes of the Inferno bot and take his empty castle - the grey one died, Vistan also clears the Arena with a chest but doesn't have time to take anything from it. The bot acted very nobly by building Pits but not buying them out. I set up a Mage Guild - there's Slow and Skin, just right for Vistan underground. At home, Horses with Griffins in the Citadel. Week 2: Vistan takes the Arena and the scout view - in the very ass of the Inferno-bot-respawn there's another Conservatory - total I see 4 of them, the money is transferred home for taking the first two-stack Conservatory, collecting cash for the buyout, at home I set up the Mage Guild - there Val learns Bless under Water. 122 - Val easily breaks the Conservatory - only due to morale they take down a Horse. 123 - Vistan takes a Naga Bank of 20, losing 7 archers again due to morale and runs to the Conservatory in the corner of the respawn. Also scouted and broke through the entrance to a Treasure on the swamp. Vistan near the Conservatory clears a Chest +5 for 10-19 Castle Horses and enters the Throne Conservatory. A three-stack with a gre. stack - falls just as easily, already without losing anything worthwhile. The only downside - no money for Demonizing. Vistan caught and mastered Log, got basic Wisdom. After taking the Conservatory he breaks back home and runs to the adjacent zone. The money was transferred home - Val took a mini Dragon Fly Hive and a Dwarf Cottage for 75. On 127 I finally remembered about the Conservatory that it was unknown if it could be reached or not. Turns out it can. Val goes there with expert Water. Vistan with 5 Angels enters a Throne Conservatory without a gre. stack - max: knocked out 2 stacks - the Angel had 50 HP left - flew around from 3 stacks for a long time, got only 1 morale, and in return got 4 morale from Griffins, so no matter how hard I tried, one Angel still ended up in the red, but in total there were 8 of them. Week 3: Val takes the three-stack Conservatory, the scout hero in the swamp Treasure finds a Dragon Utopia, Vistan found 2 passages and farms them, also Sandro appeared, who starts using Inferno meat to slowly Necromance. In the underground I take a Castle village - right next to it +2 speed for 5-9 Bears with a stack of Greys and I run to the Dragon Utopia, Sandro starts Demonizing too. By the end of the week I reached the Dragon Utopia and took it, along the way taking another Dragon Fly Hive for 4 and breaking 47 Black and Angry Cows, which killed my Angel with one look... racists, probably... in the Dragon Utopia they gave a Sword +5 to All and a Chest 10/2. At the start of week 4, Laura attacks Sandro with all the forces - 300 Infernal Troglodytes, 75 Harpy Hags, 20 gre. Minotaurs, 50 gre. Eyes. Already spent all the money somewhere, so I can't buy back. I kill 12 Minotaurs and some small fry. Sandro dies. Vistan got very angry and runs to avenge the boy from his neighborhood. Upon learning of this, the blue team capitulates.
I feel like responding to such questions with profanity :) The draw will be held after the ENTIRE round is completed.
If you want something, you should have it; you can't keep everything to yourself :), otherwise, you'll get an intoxication :) pofigu
The draw is done after the round is completed; I suggest you familiarize yourself with the truth about the Swiss system for running tournaments http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%E2%....D1.80.D0. B0
Thanks for the explanation :) but there's nothing there about not being able to do a draw for players who have already played and have the same number of points, especially when the pairings for the first and subsequent rounds are not determined according to the ranking but randomly. Wikipedia
In the following rounds, all players are divided into groups with the same number of points. Thus, after the first round, there will be three groups: winners, losers, and those who drew. If there is an odd number of players in a group, one player is transferred to the next point group.
The pairings for the next round are made from one point group according to the same ranking principle as in the first round.
We don't have any ranking; the pairings for the next round are formed randomly or at the organizer's discretion, so what difference does it make who plays against whom from those who have the same number of points in the next round? And why can't they start doing this a little earlier?

Actually, it won't be easy for Dirty Playery. The Swiss system is a very complicated pairing system, even with a program. Let's not make his job even harder. It seems like a problem is brewing: by the 3rd round, there will be players with 2-3 zeros in the table. How do we motivate them to continue fighting? Maybe announce an Honorary Cup for the fall (similar to the Portal Cup)? Only those who score at least 50% of the points in OFB-7 could participate in it, so that those who started poorly would continue to fight?
I wish the next round would come sooner! I'm writing a lot of nonsense :)
After reading this thread for the past couple of days, along with the thread about the diamond mod and the HD mod, I get the impression that some people have gone a bit crazy with the arrival of spring.
so you're just a filler. :) what does the rating have to do with it? It was meant that pairing is not based on the rating. Roger DAltavilla

But no one promised him an easy life. :) Roger DAltavilla

this problem is made up, any player can influence the final distribution of places in one game Roger DAltavilla

no, it's okay
Keep going and maybe Dirty_Player as organizer and honorary chairman (but a very weak participant) will accept you as a recruit, with a trial period, into our club "Fun Sheet" :smile25:

Did I miss something, or is ariputra beating all the old-timers in Heroes?
After such words, one can only assume that you are either a troll or blind.
Worse. A blind troll! :D Don't bother Timofey. It's a day off, and he just wants to play and is ready to, but he has to wait for the draw, and he hasn't found anyone to play with yet :). This is a drawback of this draw system. To be fair, the organizer did not specify a particular version of the Swiss system draw; there are several. For Timofey. The draw in the new round pairs players with an equal number of points. Those with 1 point play against someone else with 1 point, and those with 0 points play against someone else with 0 points. Therefore, all the pairs for the new round can only be determined after the previous round is over. It's an inflexible system. But given the large number of participants and its own tasks, it's suitable. And here, you'll have to strictly set the tech trees. As an option, you could use a Swiss system with a random selection of players, but the specific choice depends on the tournament's goals and the number of participants.
On the third week, I ate 3 Dragon Utopia and went to look for opp. We met at 215.
Thanks for the game! I confirm!
For half the game, I thought I needed to go get the cloak so as not to run into an explosion, but I never did, hoping I'd get lucky. I didn't, and I lost in the finale; if I had the cloak, it would have been a victory... It will be a lesson for me...
Excellent start — 2 native heroes, all heroes with 3 stacks, 3 external gnoll dwellings at the respawn, no money problems. I break through to the first underground level, and there are 2 hives right away. Tazar waits for reinforcements and by the end of the week takes them out successfully. Week result — wyverns in the castle plus the native village, Tazar with Expert Armorer and Logistics, Basic Wisdom and Earth.
Week 2: Griffin Conservatory levels 1 and 3 (1 angel is given to Vistain with Pathfinding, who thoroughly clears the huge home respawn for the next week). Tazar finally breaks into the center (36 wyverns, 3 angels and miscellaneous, Mass Slow, Advanced Offense, Tactics, Expert Wisdom).
Week 3: Orange Castle is killed (very lucky run-in, could have been painful with Ciele holed up in the castle). A guild is built in one of the Conflux villages. There's a Dragon Utopia and a Griffin Conservatory at the respawn, but without control it takes a long time to march there. An external hydra dwelling is found.
Week 4: Fly is awarded, thanks to which the home Utopia is taken quickly. Eislinn is available with Advanced Air and Expert Wisdom, but there is NO Sight anywhere. 48 grand wyverns and 7 angels (2 more in the castle) head toward the Castle. Archangels are standing by, I save up money for the upgrade.
Week 5: I systematically move toward the opponent, kill a Dungeon comp. Luna appears in the tavern at about level 7, I lend her a couple of archangels until black dragons appear, quickly level her up and equip her with Armageddon. Tazar detoured to a Utopia in the treasure zone, and there turned out to be 2 more. I killed another (the last) Castle comp for good measure. Tazar with the Book of Earth. Archangels, wyverns, and the Red Orb inspire confidence.
Week 6: I fly Tazar over to the opponent's place, kill Crag Hack with a couple of oddballs and company, but I'm 1 movement point short of entering the castle. For some reason I remove the Red Orb. The next day Gurnisson flies in, retakes his castle, and disappears somewhere. The army in the castle doesn't look like the main force, no way to check, I attack (again without the Red Orb). Gurnisson is there, who was treacherously planning to subtract some of my archangels and flee (if he had built a portal of summoning, that's exactly what would have happened). Instead, he got an Armageddon instead of an implosion, which put the final touch.
