Cerberuses are described in detail in ancient Greek myths. That's where they originated. So, I have a good idea of what a Cerberus should look like.

I like how our little monster performs its signature move – an uppercut with its hooves. It’s really funny when it delivers the blow, and you shout in the enemy’s direction: “Naaa!… Na-Na-Na!… Take that!” Finally, the little guy figured out that it’s more effective to use its hooves!

In my opinion, the Cerebrates look better than in other parts of the game, and overall, the entire Inferno faction has noticeably improved. However, the golems with swords and the monks with clubs are what really disappointed me.

What has the community seen regarding standard Cerberus models?:confused: What should they look like?:confused: The answer in our discussions is simple: the issue is that people get used to the first image, and after spending some time with it (playing Heroes 3), it seems to them that nothing could be more familiar.;)

Sir, there were no gnomes, elves, hydras, or dragons in the world, so we can confidently say that all creature models in all Heroes games are incorrectly made!:eek:

I don't quite understand what you mean:confused: I agree, they didn't exist. It was all in legends and myths. The images of mythical creatures were formed over the years in different civilizations. After all, there are legends about the existence of certain creatures. That's where we get our ideas about them. Legends and myths always have a reason for their origin – they don't just appear out of thin air. Of course, many creatures don't look like our idea of them, but that's all the artists' designs. Only individual details are taken:
Dragon - a winged creature covered in scales, breathing fire (similar to a snake or lizard)
Cerberus - a hellish dog with three heads;
Angel - a creature similar in form to a human with wings, a messenger from heaven;
And many others...
Artists are already taking on their modification, and in fact, there are many variations;
In Heroes 5, you can also say that it's an exclusive opinion of the developers on how these creatures should look.
P.S. Don't you, Night, like how hydras look? And what is a hydra in your understanding?

A gargoyle, in general, comes from architecture and differed among different peoples.

P.S. If we're talking about fantasy, then it's a creature with 6 heads that lives in a swamp:)
If we're talking about reality, then it's a marine animal-plant that grows on the ocean floor and devours fish:)

I agree, they are different. That's why the world of Heroes took bits and pieces from everywhere, but predominantly from European and Mediterranean legends. What was closer. There is so much in Greece alone. And then there are the glorious Knights fighting dragons. Or Templars battling demons for the glory of the Lord. Elves seem to have come from Britain—people living in forests who were skilled with a bow. And many others... The East is a delicate matter; everything is somehow different there. Largely due to the closed nature of their territories at those times and a way of life that remained unchanged for ages.

Well, what didn't you find in the hounds? Okay, they don't have fur, and yes, they were singed in hell... But in my opinion, they are very beautiful... I like them!!!!! I don't know what happened with you and them...

I don't know about others, but I'm happy with Inferno in Heroes 5 (a strong faction). But the main force consists of ferocious killers: Hell Lords. Such power is hidden in these creatures!:eek: :) Not only are they good in terms of stats, but they also have great spells (Defense Reduction, Fireball - deals damage in a small area, is that not enough for you? They also cast Improved Meteor Shower).
And they look amazing! :) They wield a formidable sword (even if it's broken, it's still impressive). If they had more speed, they would cause a real stir, but even as they are, they are quite formidable.

Looks great! But it doesn't compare to the Succubus! The Succubus is simply perfect! And the Pit Lord clearly looks like a brute who wants to break free from the Abyss into the material world to kill and destroy everything!

Pete Lord is definitely cool, yeah =) He really has nothing in common with the one from "Heroes of Might and Magic III". I really like his spell set =) By the way, how does his sword work? Does it kill anyone, or what? 8)

By the way, in my opinion, his main strength lies in the upgraded succubi... The main tanks are the horned overseers, and the role of the swamp dragonflies is perfectly fulfilled by the cerberi =)

And they even improved it compared to the third installment.

They even raised his level compared to the 3rd game.

It's just that they "slightly" raised his level; in reality, they significantly improved him, I think, by as much as 2 levels... in short, Pete the Lord is awesome and rules...
