New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

Only experienced players can participate in the tournament. The tournament organizer will decide whether a player meets the skill requirements at their discretion.
And honestly (I'm surprised again), the regulations are posted not for discussion, but for making a decision: "to participate or not to participate" (that's the question) - otherwise, they're just creating a lot of pointless chatter over five pages...

We could devise some coefficients for players that would allow them to be selected more often during randomization. For example, based on good results in tournaments running in parallel, or something else. Also, players with more free time could be selected more often. There's a lot to consider to ensure everything runs smoothly and no one feels unfairly treated.
The tournament lasts a year. If 2 weeks are allocated for one game, it turns out that there will be about 25 games. It is possible that more than 50 people will register for the tournament. Mathematically, we get a situation where some players will not play at all, and some will play only one game. There will be a third group - players who manage to become the king... It turns out that the tournament will be mostly for those who can become the king, and there will be 7-8 of them. The tournament is positioned as: "If you're lucky, you play; if you're not, that's okay." IMHO.
How can there be 40-50 games if there are only 52 games in total, and each game takes 2 weeks?
Steam has one major weakness when it comes to playing well: if there's a difficult period coming up with limited time for games (either an intensified work schedule or, conversely, a vacation), many will play not to win, but to lose. Because, considering the rules, it will be difficult to get into the list, and it's easier to quietly earn points and the necessary 3-4 weeks of "vacation" in the tournament without drawing attention to yourself.
...
However, kudos to the organizers :smile12:. Everything is well thought out, and there are clear answers to "tricky" questions, and a suggestion to change the rules :smile16:.
During communication with players, the following question arose: will the time limit be sufficient for players: "SOD — 8 minutes for the Jebus cross, Mini-Nostalgia, 8mm6a, 8xм12a, 6LM10a templates; 6 minutes for 2SM4d(3), Balance".
