Perhaps only one change is needed, so that mages don't dominate so much on map 200: if a mage casts a spell, they shouldn't be able to move during that turn.
In short, I agree with Gomungul regarding the shackles. It's absurd, to put it mildly. It needs to be fixed.
Isn't it absurd to disconnect and repeat turns (not to mention morale)? The proposed rule change is simpler and more clearly defined. It might not be the best solution, but it's an equivalent one. IMHO.
First, we sign up, and only then do we read the rules:D The shackles are definitely an overreach. I didn't even notice at first that this point was described in detail in the first post (for what reason?). I thought it was a standard repetition from the usual rules regarding the shackles – that there should be a kind of save reload. But it turns out it's much different. An awkward attacker shouldn't have such advantages. There will also be a catch with the 4th-level mages. That is, any hero will be able to use this magic after learning it... except for the specialist himself. And finally, add a point about the black market: who should choose the city first.
And finally, add a rule about who gets to choose the starting town.
Are you serious? :D kalababa
Main rules: 1. The game is played on a medium-sized map without dungeons and without water, with a 200% resource rate, a 4-minute turn time, and medium monster strength (monster strength is not random; it's medium because all templates have been reworked and optimized for this difficulty). 2. Players can choose from 3 types of templates (2sm2c, balance, skirmish). 3. All towns and bonuses are random.
I'm about to reveal a shocking secret about the rules. Everyone who unsubscribed has already played under these rules on the interportal. And I think they played under these rules in some other tournaments as well; Google is your friend, as they say.
What you wrote about retreat is exactly as stated in the rules — fighting is only possible if shackles are equipped. As for the camp, that's overkill — what's the probability of getting that arch? what's the probability of having a camp at the starting respawn, plus potentially very nasty guards?
On M-map, 200%, it still needs to be bought, and if bought, it's well-deserved; after all, this is a game with a predetermined element of luck and fortune.

I hope "kalababa" won't be angry. I'll add some criticism. After watching the streams, I've formed a firm opinion that this tournament has nothing to do with Blitz. Arguments:
1. The duration of turns can easily be 10+ minutes.
2. A game can easily last 3-4 hours or more.
3. There is no difference between the so-called "Blitz game" and, for example, an unlimited time game. Let me explain: I'm not going to talk about chess with Sevensan, but in chess, Blitz games and regular games have different styles. Blitz encourages more active actions, sacrificing pieces, which is not always a good strategy in classic games. Here, I don't see a fundamental difference between a game with a 4-minute timer and an unlimited time game. Perhaps in an unlimited time game, the player will have 5-10% more time, and that's it. Priorities, the strength of castles - there is no difference. In comparison, when playing Blitz on the WT version (timer 600+300), the content of the game changes significantly.
4. If the Blitz tournament was apparently intended as a competition for those who cannot afford a game with a standard 10-minute timer, then I would like to note the extremely tight schedule. 3 days per game - a game lasting 3-4 hours, which means 12-16 hours over two weeks.
5. The game has a chance to end quickly only because of the 200% starting resources and the small map size; I don't see any other reasons to consider this tournament a Blitz tournament in Heroes.
What’s all the fuss about bracelets? It’s a perfectly normal rule set. How often do you encounter a stalemate in battles in your games? And how often does it happen with bracelets? On M200, bracelets are a rare occurrence. So, I don’t think it’s worth wasting time discussing this.
Added 7 minutes later Oelm, in the first tournaments, there were 2 minutes per turn. Then, as always, people started complaining and whining about increasing the time. I also tend to agree with 2 minutes, but it’s unlikely to be possible to revert to that now.
Quite the opposite. As far as I know, he hasn't influenced the outcome of any of the previous 5 tournaments, but he can add intrigue, and that's a plus. By the way, I'm not sure if he's even on these templates. :)
Once, Stiky felt the full power of an arch from a camp on a 2cm2s map during a stream. There was only a fan, but I'll never forget that feeling, haha. Joining in :) Amiloo 388281368
