Team Blue: leosnow (Necromancer, Zoltan) lost to Team Red: kobralalala (Dwarves, Carli) 313, Mask.
The day before we played a fun game, sort of getting to know each other. We sketched things out, my... and again, and again Necromancer,
but against Dwarves (barely played as Overlords, so I barely know what to expect, idk).
We planned things out in advance, thought everything through... and did the complete opposite.
I don't remember why, but I took a restart on 111. The second start gave me Dungal in the tavern
with archers unwilling to fight for the Necromancer ((( .
But there were two external dwellings of Vampires, which only became mine on the second week.
It's all okay, but we didn't agree on loads right away. Thanks to the opponent, he had mercy during the game.
Twice I got wiped due to stupidity. The second time after a break in the game I forgot
there was no Spirit Link and attacked without mana a garrison between my intermediate towns.
Then with my second hero I basically lost a full weekly
growth while passing into the secondary zone from my spawn (guard 35, but fifty Rakshasas in one stack
were very angry, hundreds of something I don't remember anymore, they were dust),
of course I retreated anyway Raven level 15, at that point even she outclassed Carli in all stats.
Later she didn't get to fight, I didn't trust her anymore))). After that there were many options.
I should have calmly figured out the template, but it only clicked when I was walking to work just now,
where I'm writing this great postscriptum, only after the game did it finally dawn on me: "W" stands for secondary towns,
and I spent the whole game wondering why the Eye of the Grand Magus saw as many as two neutrals: Dwarves and Barbarians.
Looks like this skill of mine is called "Masterful Noobism" with a very
cool ability: "Lagging like an emergency brake"
perfected to the max with full force.
Stupid wipes with my main, losing a week's growth with my second hero, I wish my eyes hadn't seen
what the Mage's Eye sees and that the opponent took a Dwarf secondary too.
Plus if not two, then at least one week of Titans for sure.
I should have gone back to learn the built magic and Town Portal home, no...
along the way I break a portal from the intermediate into a mini treasure zone and
finally grabbing Spirit Link, I hang out there for a week.
Doing nothing, just grabbed an external dwelling of Black Knights
broke two portals in one direction... and... . Interests overlapped.
... total chaos, I need almost a week without logistics to get home.
Next turn I get wiped, buy troops and finally break the portal into the secondary and in fear go home.
ГО three steps from the doorstep, idk where they are, interests overlapped. An army arrives, breaks through the ГО,
two scouts run there.
No luck again, both the secondary and the gold one are on snow.
Two portals from my intermediates are unbroken, the one into the treasure zone??? 4 days to each, 2 between them.
I wait another day for the scouts to push deeper.
One slips past the market and next turn the opponent's scout hero crashes into it,
I decided not to go there for now, I still had hope for continuation, the stats were slightly encouraging.
The second scout in the gold zone scouted three portals and an Ice Shield next to Angels.
I run there, break the portals grab the Shield spend 2-3 days,
and meanwhile Carli uses Astral Jump from his secondary into the gold zone and turns out to be,
even for a Necromancer without logistics, less than one day from my castle.
I teleport home. Carli runs the other way, towards the market, on the way runs into a thicket of Ents,
then grabs a Wonderful Quiver. He didn't like the market, or the guard in front of the market,
he took a reload (for some reason I also had to transition, even though he's blue and the host),
attacked my scout hero. He offered either FB or a save.
I was tired, made a bunch of stupid mistakes, Raven scouted the secondary,
a Barbarian castle, that could have been so many Necromancer units. Ah, what's the use, too late. Snow everywhere. My morale
worse than after a Banshee's Cry. In short, I decided not to drag it out, the 3rd month was already starting.
Should have thought earlier.
And the gang leader shouldn't have taken Chaos (although I wanted to get Pyrokinesis by boosting SP).
On the second month I opened the second hut, and there was Leadership (which immediately dropped for me).
The army seems okay, stats 1.5 times higher. Idk, maybe I should have taken Bone Warriors instead of Archers? - don't know.
I bought an army on 311, transferred another 4 Black Knights on 312 and charged at Carli.
Grabbing 5 more Messengers along the way, fortunately there were Titans everywhere in droves (not fortunately, but to my sorrow)
and over 700 Dark ones.
FB. The first stupidity in battle, I didn't resurrect 11 separated Vampires protecting the archers
who died after a devilish attack by Erels, into which 80 Warriors of Arkat "teleported" with pleasure.
After that, the cover from Dragons and Knights for Skeleton Archers became useless.
I remembered the Heavenly Shield when Domination didn't work on the Erels.
The idea to Dominate the Erels was the final stupidity.
Thanks to the opponent for an interesting game and FB, his patience, since he managed within 5 minutes, and even 10 wasn't enough for me.
For understanding (for the two loads), and generally for the chat, we talked on Skype for half the game))).
Good luck in the remaining battles.
