k.blue leosnow (Necromancer, Zoltan) lost to k.red kobralalala (Dwarf, Carley) 313, face mask.
The day before we played a fun game, sort of to get acquainted. We drafted, my... and again, and again Necromancer,
but against Dwarves (I've hardly played as Warlocks, so I know them poorly, no idea what to expect).
We drafted in advance, I thought everything over and... did everything the opposite.
I don't remember why, but I took a restart on 111. The second start gave Dugal in the tavern
with shooters unwilling to fight for the Necromancer ((( .
But I did get two external vampire dwellings, which became mine only on the second week.
Everything was alright, but we didn't agree on loads right away. Thanks to the opponent, he had mercy in the game.
I made two stupid fly-ins. The second time after a break in the game I forgot
that there was no Spiritual Link and attacked without mana a garrison between my intermediate towns.
Then with my second hero I lost almost a full weekly
growth when passing into a secondary zone from my spawn (guard 35, but fifty Rakshasas in one stack
were very angry, hundreds of someone I don't remember anymore, they were dust),
of course I retreated nonetheless, Raven level 15, at that point even she outclassed Carlie in all stats.
She didn't get to fight later, I didn't trust her anymore))). After that there were many options.
I should have calmly figured out the template, but instead it only clicked when I was going to work just now,
where I'm writing this great postscriptum, only after the game I finally got it: "V" means secondary towns,
and I spent the whole game wondering why the Eye of the Great Seer sees as many as two neutrals: Dwarves and Barbarians.
Looks like this skill of mine is called "Artful Noobism" with a very
cool ability: "Slowdown at the level of an emergency brake"
perfected to the utmost degree and with maximum force.
Stupid fly-ins with the main hero, losing weekly growth with the second hero, may my eyes not see
what the Eye of the Seer sees and that the opp also took a Dwarf secondary.
Plus if not two, then at least one week of Titans.
I should have gone back to learn the built magic and Town Portal home, no...
along the way I break a portal from an intermediate zone into a mini treasure zone and
having finally gotten Spiritual, I hang out there for a week.
Doing nothing, just grabbed an external Black Knight dwelling,
broke two portals in one direction... and... . Our interests intersected.
... holy crap, I have to run home for almost a week without logistics.
Next turn I get crushed, buy troops and finally break a portal into a secondary zone and in fear go home.
Wondering three steps from the doorstep, no idea where they are, our interests intersected. An army arrives, breaks through the wonder,
two scouts run there.
Again no luck, both the secondary and the gold zone are on snow.
Two portals from my intermediate zones are not broken, the one into the treasure??? 4 days to each, 2 between them.
I wait another day for the scouts to advance.
One slips past the marketplace and the next turn the opp's scout hero crashes into him,
I decided not to go there for now, there was still hope for continuation, stats were slightly encouraging.
The second scout in the gold zone scouted three portals and nearby Ice Shield behind the Angels.
I run there, break portals, grab the shield, spend 2-3 days,
and meanwhile Carlie, using Astral, jumps from her secondary zone into the gold zone and turns out to be,
even for a Necromancer without logistics, less than one day from my castle.
I teleport home. Carlie runs the other way, towards the marketplace, on the way pops into a thicket of Ents,
then grabs the Exquisite Quiver. She didn't like the marketplace, or the guard in front of the marketplace,
she took a reload (why did I have to switch too, even though he's the blue color and he's the host),
attacked my scout hero. Offered either an FB or a save.
I was tired, made a bunch of stupid mistakes, Raven scouted a secondary zone,
a Barbarian castle, that's so much Necro that could have been. But what's done is done. Snow everywhere. My morale
is worse than after a Banshee's cry. In short, I decided not to drag it out, already into the 3rd month.
Should have thought earlier.
And the gang leader shouldn't have taken Chaos (though I wanted to get Pyrokinesis, boosting SP).
On the second month I opened a second hut, and there was Leadership (which immediately went down for me).
The army was alright, stats 1.5 times higher. Dunno, should I have taken Bone Warriors instead of Marksmen? - I don't know.
I bought an army on 311, transferred another 4 Black Knights on 312 and rode off to Carlie.
Picking up another 5 Messengers along the way, thankfully there was a ton of Titans everywhere (only not for my benefit, but to my sorrow)
and over 700 Dark ones.
FB. First stupidity in the battle, I didn't resurrect 11 separated Vampires covering the shooters
who died after a devilish attack by Earls, to which 80 Arkat's Warriors gladly "teleported".
After that, the cover of Dragons and Knights for Skeleton Shooters became useless.
I remembered about Celestial Shield when Domination failed on the Earls.
The thought of dominating the Earls was the ultimate stupidity.
Thanks to the opp for an interesting game and the FB, his patience, because he managed within 5 minutes, and 10 wasn't enough for me.
For understanding (for two loads), and for the communication in general, we chatted on Skype for half the game))).
Good luck in the remaining battles.![]()

it happened, I confirm. for me, the game started with fails, like for the opponent. not fatal ones, it seemed - but slowing down growth. I was glad for Carlie since I prioritize luck for all races anyway, and she gets it right off the bat. It offered Light at level 3 and it started. After that it only offered racial skill, Light, and Sorcery. And it gave her stats in Energy and Knowledge. I even thought about changing the main hero, but gritting my teeth I decided to keep her. because of bad luck with crystals I built Titans !at the end of week 4! With 3 Dragons I cleared banks etc in two production zones. leveled up the Dragons, bought up, and broke into the gold zone, though losing one Dragon on each side from the guards (Hell Stallions are hot guys). There I conducted an expedition to 3 Pyramids and picked up a Quiver, King's Axe, Ring of 10 Initiative, and Dragon Shield. Along the way I chomped on meat, gaining levels, and finally got Logistics. It was also tough with Runes and Spells - they never gave me the Resurrection Rune. As for Light Magic, the secondary zone, even though native, gave almost the same spells and runes (. The two weeks of Titans greatly compensated for their late construction and the bad luck with spells and runes. The Battle Fury rune helped a lot, he became a big unit and with no retaliation against three, plus Lightning flew from the Titans.
Thanks to the opponent for this match and for introducing me to TE by playing a practice game before the tournament one.
