You might ask, is it possible to play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 on a regular mobile phone with java support. In reality, this hasn't been done yet and, I think, likely won't be. However, one can try to create the atmosphere of Heroes 3, and this attempt was made by the following developers:
Apparently, Heroes III URIEL MOD is a mod based on the now-well-known java game Age of Heroes. At least in the copyrights, it mentions the company Qplaze, which develops Age of Heroes.
So, let's take a closer look at Heroes III URIEL MOD.
After launching, we can see the following menu:
If you go to "Help", you can read about the brief goal of the whole endeavor:
The goal of the game is to defeat the Lord of Darkness and liberate the Kingdom (described in the 'Lords of Darkness' quest).
MAP MODE:)
Well then, let's start the game anyway and click "New" in the main menu. The backstory of the skirmish appears before us:
They came from nowhere. Some say they sailed from the sea, others that they flew on giant birds. But no one can say for sure, as no one has ever seen them. They were called the Lords of Darkness. Magic
And then, which was very pleasing, we see a Rampart — yes, a real Rampart, with familiar landscapes nearby and even the signature side frames from Heroes 3. And all this on a mobile screen.
Let's first look at the game menus:
[The screenshots are taken after a couple of minutes of gameplay, so you can see a slightly opened map, 2 spells in the book, and 1 artifact]
Well, my initial impression of the game for a mobile phone is, I think, quite positive.
Now let's enter the Castle and see what awaits us here:
In the Castle, there are only three possible actions — (Buying magic scrolls, hiring troops, and talking to the city mayor).
Let's enter the fort (this is where the city mayor sits, who will tell us something). Next, let's enter the prefecture (currently the mages guild, where you can buy scrolls). Of the scrolls, I initially managed to buy only the "fire arrow" scroll (by default, 10 of them are available). And finally, you can enter the tavern (this is now where troops are hired). Although, for some reason, it immediately said that no one could be hired (probably not enough leadership). But here is who could have been hired:
The assortment is small, of course, but for a mobile game mod, everything has been reworked quite well.
After inspecting the Castle, you can set off on your journey. Along the way, there's that same pleasant atmosphere of Heroes 3 (you can encounter scrolls, chests, and various other things).
Now, I think it's worth considering another important aspect of the game, which actually disappointed me a bit. Let's see how the battle is implemented.
Actually, only two things were disappointing in all of this:
non-transparent sprites (sprite — an animated image, in this case, the units)
a complete lack of any balance in battle
That concludes my short review of Heroes III URIEL MOD, which I stumbled upon completely by chance on the same old internet. Those interested can Download this mod and try it out for themselves.
Who even needs this? Playing Heroes on a mobile phone? Don't make me laugh. But I respect the developers for their efforts.
For some reason, Qplaze released two parts of Age of Heroes, and many people play them. I personally completed both during algebra lessons :). Never part with your favorite game! :)

Well, it seems I belong to the minority of people like that.
I don't play very often anyway, mostly just for testing and exploring the game. And I probably won't play on mobile at all, but I really liked these pictures and screenshots. I hope this project develops further. Did they want to create an atmosphere? - They succeeded! The question is: will this mod be worth playing?
By the way, how is the music?
And it's a pity that the unit images aren't transparent.
And on what phone did you all play this, because I downloaded it for my screen, but it doesn't fit, even on a screen with a resolution twice as large; the game doesn't fit!
Yes... The mod is quite old, and the author hasn't worked on it for a long time, which is a shame... :( I found him, we talked, and according to him, he created it about two years ago... Now he says he could make the sprites transparent and modernize everything further, as he has gained more experience... BUT... he says he has no motivation to continue...
