Posts from regarding the collection of skeletons in "Rise of the Phoenix".Auto-translated
Read the rules in the very first post of this thread! Cheats are PROHIBITED!!!
Okay, okay, I'm just kidding. :) It's just that, although all participants initially start in equal conditions, after the map is generated, luck plays a role. You could say that this is a tournament about collecting skeletons and the player's luck! :)
Is it possible to assign specific castles to the computer-controlled players before the game starts, specifying exactly which castles I want them to have?
And, in particular, is it possible to assign the Elemental Castle to the computer players?
I think that's a very reasonable limitation, regarding the 7-month period (I would, however, shorten it to 3-5 months). Some players will spend all day playing and accumulating skeletons, while others will only be able to dedicate a couple of hours a day, and even that only on weekends.

Everything that isn't forbidden is allowed. 8))) True, Conflux itself is quite an unpleasant Castle for Necropolis… and the victory conditions on the map also impose their own fun limitations regarding the computer. And if I’m being completely honest, this is probably my mistake with the Castles; I just don’t have any time, and I edited the map literally a couple of hours in the evening of the 9th so that the Tournament would start on time)). And I made the rules then too. 8)) Predvestnik;61322
Damn, I really don’t like the 7-month limit! Why even make a limit for Alan if the tournament ends on the 22nd… the 22nd is already a limit…
This question has already been discussed... /topic/at/59804/ and I think I gave a fairly comprehensive answer to it...
Тьма - это то, что позволяет смертным не забывать, как ярок бывает свет.
I played for about 4 months. I gathered a large army of skeletons and other creatures, but then HE arrived! An Elementalist! He had around 200 Phoenixes and 300 Elementals, plus other units of 300-400 each, and fairies exceeding 6000! Well, he completely crushed me!
That’s what I don’t like about the third game! I accumulated a decent amount over 3 months, and then this monster showed up with incredibly powerful creatures – 5 Hydras, 7 Ancient Behemoths, 5 Ifrits, 1 RUSTY Dragon, and 2 CRYSTAL Dragons, and they decimated half of my army! After that, it becomes unpleasant to play!
That's what I don't like about the third game! I accumulated a decent amount over 3 months - 360 skeletons, 40 liches, 25 death knights, 100 vampires, 30 ghosts, 160 zombies, and then this monster appeared with incredibly powerful creatures - 5 hydras, 7 ancient behemoths, 5 ifrits, 1 RUSTY dragon, and 2 CRYSTAL dragons, and they decimated half of my army! After that, it's just unpleasant to play!
Well, you shouldn't wait three months! :D You should have clipped the wings of those phoenixes at the beginning of the game, and then slowly develop without any problems... :)
You're confusing the posts – I don't have Elementalist units as opponents!
The meaning of the message doesn't change... you need to quickly eliminate (weaken :smile19:) the opponent first, and then calmly accumulate resources.
It's just that although initially all participants are on equal footing, after the map is generated, it's a matter of luck. You could say this is a tournament of skeleton gathering and player luck! :)
Yeah right, all on equal footing:) . Someone will sit around all day until they generate all the Necromancer castles on the map, as well as the Cloak of the Undead King and much, much more, wait until month 7 and then do a routine map sweep, and in the last days the joined army will descend on the skeleton transformer...
So these so-called equal conditions are not for me, IMHO.
Whoever has more time wins, good luck... Alex Ghost;61364
This is exactly what I don't like about Heroes 3! I built up a decent army over 3 months, and then some jerk shows up with super-strong creatures — just 5 hydras, 7 ancient beasts, 5 efreet, 1 RUST and 2 CRYSTAL dragons wiped out half my army! After something like that, it's disgusting to keep playing!
Advice: Generate yourself a Book of Air Magic, or take generated Angel Wings, generated Cloak of the Undead King, and take out the computer by the first week at the latest, then wait until mid-month 7...

Have you even played the game?! Try to quickly eliminate the opponent when you start with zero resources!
Yeah, everyone is on equal footing:) . Someone will sit all day until they generate ALL Necromancer castles on the map, as well as the Cloak of the Undead King ПКН and many, many other things, wait until month 7 and then start a routine map cleanup, and in the final days the joined army will descend on the skeleton transformer...
Whoever has more time wins, good luck...
Completely agree! But for fun, you can run through it, test out features for the future, edit the starting conditions, and then recommend it for inclusion in the game registry "Tournament on Skeletons". Essentially - the topic is interesting, but for now it's just a fun tournament, without any particular complications or restrictions.
By the way, there's no need to generate a bunch of Necromancer gadgets. More than 100% is impossible anyway. And all the tricks with the Cape of Silence or the Book of Air are plain to see.

Have you even played it yet?! Try to take them out quickly when you start with donuts instead of resources!
Heh. What do resources have to do with it? I'm saying why wait three months? :) You can take out the main enemy in one month before he gets fat, and then sit and chill for five months pressing End Turn... Then run around for another month - and that's it! 30 thousand skeletons in the bag!.. I haven't played it myself yet - just looked at the map in the editor... But I think I'm not far from the truth... Although, I could be wrong, we'll see...
2 Alan. By the way, for the future - specifically limiting the total game time to a point where it's impossible to clear the ENTIRE map - is what's interesting. Because all players will have different walkthrough tactics. But here - everyone will have the same one! :) I'm saying this so that this point isn't discussed in the future, since it's quite obvious.
Heh. What do resources have to do with it? I'm talking about why I waited three months! :) You can eliminate the main opponent in a month while he's still weak, and then spend five months just clicking "end turn"... Then run around for another month - and that's it! 30,000 weak units in your pocket! QUOTE]
Oh my god! You definitely didn't play - I didn't wait, I acted - well, the computer didn't wait either! On the hardest difficulty level!
Oh my god! You clearly haven't played – I wasn't waiting, I was acting – and the computer wasn't waiting either! On the hardest difficulty level!
I don't argue... it's impossible to accurately assess the actual tactics of completing a map just by looking at the editor. You need to play it – you're right about that... But I was only basing my opinion on general ideas about the map...
