Adagio, I understand the Nymphs, but how do the Luminaries fit into a human castle? In my opinion, the excessive emphasis on the "lightness" of the faction is not a good thing.

It's the same as with the river spirits in the Sanctuary ("excessive emphasis on the "wateriness" of the faction"). :smile01:

Yeah, and there's too much fire in Inferno. And the Orcs have too many lumberjacks. And the Necromancers just have a bunch of corpses xDDD.

Personally, I liked the new elements in all the factions. Doing the same thing year after year isn't very fun or exciting. What I'm hoping for in a possible expansion... If we're talking about the factions listed in the poll, I'm really looking forward to the dark elves, regardless of their composition, with or without dragons. In any case, they won't leave us without strong creatures. I've been thinking for a long time that it's a bit strange - the population of Ashan worships dragons, and the dragons, in turn, are subordinate to the heroes... It's kind of weird. The second one is a beholder. If we're going to consider these artworks as concepts for the sixth installment, then we should add a manticore, beasts, and witches. I'm so tired of explaining this on different forums. I've already said it in this thread. Oh well. One last time.

When the developers said that there wouldn't be dragons, it meant that there wouldn't be dragons only in the original Heroes 6 (without expansions). Producer Erwan Le Breton meant that dragons would be bosses. But he was misunderstood... And this led to the incorrect assumption that there wouldn't be dragons even in the expansions as units.

In it, Marzini, in clear English with a strong French accent, says (3:45) that they didn't include dragons as champions in Heroes 6 because many complained that in Heroes 5, half of the factions had a dragon as a champion. I quote:

But this does not mean that in the future we will not have a faction with a dragon as a champion. I think you will agree that some factions cannot exist without dragons in their lineup of creatures.

Hopefully, it's clear which faction he meant.

Creatures can change their appearance significantly when transitioning from one part to another. For example, succubi were originally wingless; phoenixes were fiery, not blue; and centaurs were initially half-horses, then half-nightmares, then half-zebras.

It's clear that it's a manticore because of its tail.

It is clear from the tail that this is indeed a manticore.

Is a scorpion tail unique to manticores?

Scorpions still have some.
