When loading a map, an error occurs: "Start player does not exist on map," and it kicks me back to the main menu. Has anyone else encountered this?

By the way, the person above is right. All sorts of things can happen, and you might not notice them. For example, assuming there are 3 players when there are only two, etc.

That is, one player exists, but there is nothing for him. Or, he is mentioned in the scripts, but he doesn't exist, etc. ... Only a check can help here.

I have the same problem, and it appears after creating quests.
I'm 80% sure that I'm doing something wrong. I'm messing up my second map already
(and it's happening at the very beginning of the creation process). It's frustrating:(

I would like to know more details. What specific task is being created, and for which player (taking into account that the first player in the tree will be assigned the number 0)? If this player has any specific settings, what are they?

Thank you for your participation, I have already figured it out. After completing the tasks, I edited the "players" tab, which then changed the "MainHero" parameter. As soon as I reverted it (assigned a hero) and launched the map, alliances appeared (all players became allies), and the map refused to launch at all. Perhaps this simple rule will help someone else: "Don't change all the settings at once."
