No need for such a rush. Umka mentioned a timeframe of about 3 months, and by then, nothing will be accomplished. The entire Wing army, 25-30 units, will be ready before Letos's turn and will defeat him. Check out my previous build order.

This build is particularly effective against the Necropolis faction, if that's what you need. Here's a slightly adjusted version: D

Logistics isn't a very useful skill, but at your request, I'll add it to the build. I got Dark Magic on level 3, and the Witch helped with Logistics. You need 2 magic skills specifically against Letos, as we need an Anti-Hero. Here's Letos himself; I built him like this because he turns out to be strong. And now, the main thing, Wingael. To avoid any questions, I'll explain what each skill is for. 1. Attack (Core skill). Tactics (Core skill). Battle Fury (Will help inflict more damage on Letos's army with low-level creatures). Haste (Grants the Haste spell, which is very useful, as you'll need to move faster to defeat Letos). 2. Luck (What kind of Elf would be without luck?). Soldier's Luck (Will help Unicorns, Archers, etc. blind, Slow more often). Magic Resistance (Will help reflect the Plague spell at the beginning of the battle; the chance is good). 3. Dark Magic (The most important magic skill). Master of Curses (Will help slow down Letos's army with the Slow spell and remove Archers from the battle with the Dispel spell). Dark Seal (Will help deplete Letos's mana, as he will spend twice as much on spells). Dark Weakness (This skill will halve the spell power; the Plague, which will poison your troops, will be twice as weak). Very useful!! 4. Logistics (Will help you move faster). Scouting (Will help you decide whether to engage in battle). Keen Mind (At the beginning of the battle, you will gain a significant advantage; I advise you to use Slow or Dispel at the beginning of the battle). 5. Light Magic (Support). Blessing (Will help remove Letos's spells, and Divine Strength will increase damage). Protection (Will help increase defense and protect against Archers). Eternal Light (A very important skill). MjTh, how did Letos manage to get leadership and logistics when the chance of them appearing is only 2%?! Or do you have a mentor on your map???

I understand the reasoning behind taking Acceleration, but I think it's better to take it as a Light skill. Firstly, it's stronger that way (an Expert skill versus an Advanced skill), and secondly, it also provides an area-of-effect damaging attack, which is very useful for Elves, considering their initiative and the fact that the hero's stats are mainly focused on defense.

I completely agree with Ment about speeding things up!

All of the above will be particularly helpful against the летос. There's no point in rushing to level up, as the loss of enchantments and Eternal Light will negate any benefits. I'll level up soon and post a replay.

Why remove the enchantment? I removed Stone Skin with Dodge and, voilà. The second point is clear: the League's archers are weak (when playing as them, I generally don't even take archers; alternative units with invisibility look better). The first point simply won't be needed when playing as Winged: the enemy will fall before they can launch any decent counterattack.

Umka-Gold, I would like to know how your encounter with Letos ended, or if it hasn't happened yet?

I completely agree with Ment, and as I said before, the outcome of the battle will be decided in the very first turns, when Wingael's army inflicts such losses on Letos that he cannot recover. At such levels, Wingael is not Letos's match, and in principle, you can ignore Letos's development; Wingael simply has to defeat him under any (within reasonable limits, of course) circumstances.

Here, Wingael is definitely stronger. Although, let's test it in practice.
