No, only a complete newbie would lose such a battle, and even then, only in case of fatal bad luck! What does Haart have: advanced ballistics, a ballista, 18 mana units. Haart cast Lightning a couple of times. Two Rocs, a handful of Harpies and Lizards - that's all his attacking stacks, the Red's units are protected by walls, and the towers fire in every round! Haart's army consists of creatures from five different races, morale dropped a couple of times, and turns were skipped!.. How could he capture this city, losing only part of his Harpies, Gnomes, and Skeletons, without cheating?!:confused:

As I understand it from the recent incident, some participants do not understand or misunderstand what morale on the HeroesWorld forum is. To prevent this from happening in the future, be sure to read, firstly, this section of the forum rules, and secondly, my notes on it! You cannot convert morale into money, like arrob on HeroesPortal, black pearls in a well-known online game, etc. Morale is just pictures with wings under your avatar, and nothing more! They are like a woman's breasts:;) they are nice to look at, but they do not participate in the processes that interest us! Morale serves exclusively as a means of moral encouragement for participants, and nothing more!
Therefore, the level of morale, its increase or decrease should be treated calmly. Just pay attention: who and for what influenced your morale, and take note. There are participants whose morale is in the deep "minus" (off the scale), but they are not worried about it: they are alive and well!:smile04:

It's not clear why this might have happened, but you should always save more often (daily or even more frequently), and then try loading a previous save; if that doesn't help, exit the game, start it again, load the save, and check if everything is okay.

1. When capturing a mine for the first time, the "Leave Guards" option doesn't activate. If you move away from the mine and return, then it becomes available. Is this always the case?

It always worked for me when I pressed the spacebar on the mine, provided that Tab is not active. If Tab is active, you need to deactivate it with the Escape key.
