Posts from Technical issues and problems with WoGa.
We played a couple of games, and everything seemed fine without any crashes, but now it's impossible to finish a battle; we even tried replaying the previous save game five times, but it still glitches. Is it some kind of desynchronization, or what should we call it? I'm just afraid that if we start a new game, the same bug will occur. It's frustrating because we've played so much, and now this happens.
We both have the same game version, 3.58f, and we're both using Windows 7. Maybe the problem is that we used to disable the antivirus, but this time we didn't, and now, no matter what we do, this bug occurs.
I hope everything will be okay next time; we'll try disabling the antivirus right away.
Hmm, this problem is quite old. We encountered it when playing online with 8 people. It started to occur when there were large armies. Recently, we made a new build, but haven't had a chance to play it and test if this bug is still present. However, all the other bugs have disappeared. Today, I bought a new computer, and I think we can check if the issue with the large army size during attacks still exists this Friday.
The problem is that when playing through Hamachi, during a battle, the same issue constantly occurs, making it impossible to finish the game. The situation is that I see the opponent making a move, but the opponent sees that I'm making a move. Consequently, the battle isn't finished and cannot be continued in any way... In most cases, this starts when someone's morale or fear ability triggers; one person sees it, and the other doesn't, which leads to confusion in the turns... Please tell me how you deal with this problem; it's really important, and I've already searched the entire internet and haven't found anything...((((
Thank you in advance...
P.S. I downloaded Heroes of Might and Magic III½ 3.58, and I'm using Windows 7...

P.S.: I've posted all the problems and bugs of WOGA here so you don't have to search for a long time.
Description: a single-level network with static IP addresses, all computers are connected to a single Cisco 2950 switch, there is no firewall, and firewalls are disabled on the XP sp3 computers. The DNS server is in the same VLAN, and telnet traces without any problems.
The h3wog.exe file, version 3.2.0.0, is used. The game directory has been copied from one USB drive to all computers. In the local version, everyone plays without any problems or glitches, but when trying to create a game using the TCP/IP protocol, the following happens: one of the players creates a session, it is visible, and it even seems to connect, but the map creator does not see the connected clients, and when trying to start the game, a message appears saying that at least two players are needed to start. On the client machine, when connecting to the session, there is no option to choose a castle color or hero, and the "Start" button is not active; the chat does not work.
If you create a session, connect all the other players to it, and then disconnect yourself, when you reconnect, you will eventually see all the other players, but when you try to start the game, after about a 10-minute timeout, a data transfer error occurs.
Where should I start looking for the problem?

Does anyone know how to prevent these errors from appearing? Otherwise, I can't play the game properly.

Does anyone know how to fix the errors? It's impossible to play normally.
Try reinstalling the game. Sometimes it helps.
