I had a dream about fathers and children. It was a big dream, and as soon as I woke up, I started to quickly forget it.
At first, some events occurred, which led to my desire to write a book about how parents don't listen to their children, and this leads to bad consequences. I'll immediately say that I wasn't in the role of a child here.
And then this book started to appear in my dreams. I was a father, in the most direct sense of the word. I had, it seems, two daughters, or maybe one, I don't remember anymore. But the dream didn't tell about my relationships and, in particular, about how I listen to them. But at the beginning of the dream, while I hadn't "started writing the book" yet, there was an idea that parents don't listen to "stupid, unreasonable, and incapable of independent thinking" children, but they will listen to another adult. I tried to bring this idea to life in my dream-book. I approached some mother who had upset her child in some way and said something to her. And then a complete absurdity happened in the dream.
The mother shot me, I was dying, and the moral was that you shouldn't interfere in the course of events, the conflict between fathers and children cannot be eradicated, otherwise it will only get worse.
By the way, I don't agree with the above idea, because people generally don't listen to anyone, and the words "children are unreasonable, children shouldn't be allowed to decide anything" are just stupid excuses and only emphasize their selfishness.
In addition, the dream considered the problem one-sidedly, but in reality, it's not only that parents don't listen to children, but children don't listen to parents either. This, in my opinion, is in the genes of humanity.
Before that, there was another dream. In it, there was a place that I had already dreamed about, and it seems, repeatedly. It's some small snowy area the size of a street. There is a barely visible road around the perimeter, and along one small part of it, there are residential houses. In the middle is a white, snow-covered forest. But I must say that it's not that cold there – minus five degrees, minus ten. And that temperature is always there.
Once, I killed some big robot there and destroyed it. And at some other time, it seems, I was on the run there, or maybe I just came to see what was there, because I was playing a computer game with many different locations. But it doesn't matter. Now I got there by climbing to the top floor of some tall, strange building, I would even say, a tower. There were no walls inside, the structure seemed to be round. And small – maybe thirty meters in diameter. There were many people in the tower.
I climbed to the top and called a friend to go for a walk in that place of eternal winter. She came, we walked a little there along the houses, and then she started a phone conversation with her parents. After that, she was somehow upset and crying. I, of course, asked what was wrong. She spoke incoherently, so I had to ask several times. In general, the main point of the problem is that she is "against love." Against any love. And now she had a fight with her parents because of this, saying that she told them the truth that she doesn't love them, and they were offended (how unexpected). I still wanted to comfort her and hug her, but she pushed my hand away, as if it were a sign of love.
A very strange and unpleasant dream. Because in reality, my friend is not like that at all; she is a kind and sweet girl who loves everyone. And here she stood in front of me, looking at me so unfamiliar. And I suddenly realized that now she has a lot in common with me – because I, although I don't "deny love," believe that I don't know how to love anyone in any way.
And why am I having such dramatic dreams? It's just crazy.
