In my opinion, Jebus-grinding is far worse than SMKA-grinding: the latter we've gradually managed to wean a considerable number of players off of, both on HeroesWorld and on HeroesPortal; the former, in my memory, no one has yet been cured of (admittedly, the time since this infection was discovered isn't that long, but I'm plagued by serious doubts that a cure will be found).

I once had such a period myself. I never played Jebus and didn't want to play it at all. I really disliked the template even just from its description... Then eventually I had to play it once, I really didn't want to, it felt like a complete waste of time. The abundance of free stuff disgusted me, but I still played... Then I forced myself to play it again, and it was already less disgusting; I started getting used to the free stuff and the treasure piles with utopias... Then I played it again, and it seemed almost normal... Then I played it again — I actually enjoyed the game and the free stuff, and by then I was playing nothing but Jebus Cross in a row; then I played it again — great! Then I played it several more times, and then I realized that I really didn't want to and couldn't make myself play any templates other than Jebus, and I only wanted to play Jebus!.. Good thing I signed up for a tournament where I had to play on other templates, and I was forced to return to normal templates; involuntarily, the strong desire to play Jebus Cross began to fade and fade away entirely, and on the contrary, I wanted to play all other templates except it, and never play Jebus again! I never played Jebus again after that...

In this thread, the poll has been closed. The main thing I needed to find out was: what should we do with Katherine's reports in the season? 19 players are willing to play with Katherine. Another 18 (+1 Katherine) believe that the reports should be taken into account, but they themselves will not play with her. In total, 37+1. 12 players voted to ignore the reports. 23 voted to ban cheaters (and therefore not take the reports into account). If we add these together, removing 5 overlaps, we get 30. In total, 38 vs 30. The majority voted to include these games. In fact, this was the case before, when vbn was in charge of the ranking, so I thought we could do without a vote on this issue. My requirement is a sufficiently detailed report from Katherine + saves on the forum. I will not check the saves; Katherine's opponents play with her of their own free will and at their own risk, but any of our users will be able to view the saves, and they may be useful if, in the future, the issue of rehabilitation arises. Katherine's "Champion of Cheating" award was given on March 20, the poll was organized on March 27, and the poll closed on April 26. Not a single report appeared in the season during these one and a half months. Next, the issue of rehabilitating cheaters in general. Many expressed support for developing a rehabilitation system. The discussion has yielded some good suggestions. A certain number of games without complaints, a guarantee, a certain period – all of this needs to be discussed further. The problem is that cheaters usually don't want to be rehabilitated. Therefore, we will put this on hold for now. We will deal with problems as they arise. Peter, such topics shouldn't be closed; they should remain at the very top. As a lesson for others... For example, I suspect unfair play by at least three players from other portals; maybe, after reading this topic, they will understand that cheating or winning at such a cost will not give them anything in life... even an extra medal under their avatar won't make their life happier. By the way, a very illustrative example is when they take restarts, looking for an easy win. During the first CIS championship in Kyiv, Artem Stinger told me some very good words: "I play any scenario." But the "great" ones restart. That's the level of skill. I would like to suggest changing the rules – restarts should only be allowed per map.

This tournament does not have “official” status, and therefore, at the very least, the organizer has the right to manage the situation as they see fit.

In my opinion, the Cheater List is needed to show that a player has been caught cheating and that caution should be exercised when dealing with them, but whether or not they should be allowed to participate in tournaments is up to each individual. Moreover, it has already shown everyone that things can be fixed; they won't allow a notorious offender to participate in a tournament... =)
