Partial landscape generation is allowed, but "purely" generated maps will be disqualified from the contest.

It's not a problem to register there, is it?
It seems a bit strange. Why manually insert each tree when you can customize a brush? What's so difficult about that...
Besides, there aren't many good standard brushes, only about 5-6 out of the whole list, so it's better to create your own brushes.
Just a humble comment.
... Greetings to all!
Today is April 1st. This is not only a day for jokes, but also the day we conclude the Heroes IV map-making contest. Unfortunately, we received few submissions. Below is a list of participants and the category in which their map will be presented. Soon, all the works will be available for download from the portal's map repository.
Sir Sculptor (Suppression of the Rebellion) - Most beautiful map;
Lady Midnight (Curse of the Red Hill) - Best RPG map;
Lady Saint Ishtar (Honor of not chess queen) - Best map about the Lands of Heroes and their inhabitants;
Sir SuperStar (Not for the sake of greed) - Best and most interesting map;
+ a work from an unknown author (Black_Wall) - Best and most interesting map;
The works of Sir Arthur the seeker (The Frost Valley) and Sir Knight Angel order (Hard Labor) have been withdrawn from the contest.
Another work by Sir SuperStar (Little green men) is being considered outside of the contest.
Oh, I am so sorry; I posted in the wrong thread :o Moderators, please move it to: /topic/8804/
And yes, you can now Download the maps from the Portal.
I haven't played Heroes 4 in a long time (because there weren't any maps).

Believe me, in 2-3 years, I've already replayed everything I could.
