Chapter 2
"All the flowers I give are only to myself"

[/CENTER]
The residents of the Abyss were shocked by the event that happened to
Thorium. Everyone pretended to be very sorry for
Thorium and that they were grieving for him, but in addition to that, they all chipped in to buy food and various drinks in order to commemorate their friend, even though almost none of them had any contact with
Thorium. And, of course, Van took responsibility for organizing these commemorations, and he prepared a huge bill.
While everyone had already left, and the usual atmosphere had returned to the tavern,
Wistrit continued to drink in memory of Thorium. Usually, he always knew his limits and could drink more than anyone else, but this time he was completely drunk after just the second glass.
Wistrit drank non-stop until he lost all his strength and left the tavern. After paying the bill,
Wistrit cursed the poor Van, but then he still thanked him for the strong and delicious drink.
Returning home from the tavern,
Xostor continued to commemorate his friend
Thorium at home with a bottle of vodka, alone. However, as soon as he took the first sip, he heard a knock at the door. He thought that some annoying creature had smelled the aroma of his delicious vodka and decided to ask for a share, and that the uninvited guest would soon get a kick in the butt. But to his surprise, the annoying uninvited guest turned out to be a very nice girl who told him that she couldn't leave him alone in such a sad situation, which meant that she would stay with him for a while.
Xostor didn't even think about refusing the well-wisher; he just let her in, sat her down at the table, opened a bottle of vodka, and began to drink it down in one gulp, hinting that he wouldn't share. Fortunately, the girl wasn't offended and, in response, offered to play a few soothing melodies on her flute. This music turned out to be surprisingly terrible to the ear, but
Xostor was already so indifferent that he listened to it with a sour face, continuing to down his vodka.
After the commemoration of
Thorium,
Amko decided to take a walk in the fresh air, pondering the situation. And, to his misfortune, on his way he met some obsessed guy who kept saying that
Thorium was far from the last in this series of terrible murders, and that soon all the honest residents of the Abyss, loyal to Norman, would die.
Fortunately,
Amko quickly got rid of the annoying stranger. But his troubles didn't end there. From behind, he was called out by some handsome guy with four gorgeous girls. He offered
Amko to listen to and appreciate his music, to see if he had a great future in music. At first,
Amko tried to refuse, but the beautiful red-haired companion of the persistent composer began to seduce him, claiming that it would be very interesting and fun, and then
Amko thought that he couldn't refuse such a doll, so he agreed, on the condition that the girl would go on a date with him later.
And
Drakkosha was bothered all evening by some strange guy with boring questions about what future she envisions, what future she desires, and what future she doesn't want.
Arandor was visited by a handsome, long-haired, but not young man. They talked for a long time about music, and then
Arandor played his own songs for him, clearly impressing his listener.
Tox has been unlucky for the second day in a row. Yesterday, he was tormented by some girl with a flute; today, he was tormented by some maniac who thought that playing electric guitar loudly under people's windows at night was very fun and nice.
Tox thought that no one could be worse off than him, but he was terribly mistaken…
Having finished with the funeral and commemoration of
Thorium,
Nebo happily returned home, humming his favorite song about a hurdy-gurdy. The blond felt all the way that someone was following him, but every time he turned around, he saw only dark night streets, slightly illuminated by streetlights. Finally,
Nebo couldn't stand it and shouted out loud:
-Who's there?! Show yourself! Or are you too scared? – but he didn't hear any answers.
Deciding that it was just his imagination,
Nebo continued on his way. However, when he entered an absolutely deserted alley, he began to hear a violin.
The blond couldn't determine where the music was coming from, so, to protect himself, he took out his dagger, which he had used to kill
Thorium yesterday, and began to look around, searching for the source of the violin melody.
Finally, the music stopped, and absolute silence fell, creating the impression that the music was just a figment of his imagination. This turn of events somewhat stunned
Nebo; the blond stood motionless, as if he had forgotten everything, but as soon as he came to his senses and realized that he was making the biggest mistake, a long, sharp sword pierced his back, inflicting a fatal wound.
-What a low blow, to attack an opponent from behind… -
Nebo fell to his knees.
-You're the last person I'm going to hear that from, - a voice hissed from behind the blond.
-A woman? Then I'm not surprised by your approach from behind.
-You should go, with your cheap insults, as cheap as your perfume. The main thing is, you paid for your crime.
-I swear, my master will take revenge on you, you little bitch.
-I'm looking forward to it. I've been wanting to find that bastard Rosen for a long time and finish him off!
-Good luck. But it won't help you, because soon you will be in the same position as I am.
-No, I definitely won't be in that position, - the girl giggled and shouted something that
Nebo could no longer understand, as he began to lose consciousness from the pain.
At that moment, as if from nowhere, a Cerberus pounced on him, tearing the blond to pieces, leaving only his hair intact.
