Maybe you had Armageddon's Blade, maybe a berserker, or something else. Should we just guess? We need a save file.

actually, it should have stayed in place (its roots are already holding it).
I have the latest Phoenix mod, and I'd like to remove some options and fix some bugs.
1. The main splash screen isn't displaying correctly.
2. Some sounds are missing.
3. Also, I'd like to change the option where all castles are mixed to the standard setting, along with the unit purchase window at the beginning of the game.
4. Furthermore, it requires a CD, but I downloaded it from the internet.
Please send me a message.
P.S. No, maybe I’m just used to Heroes of Might and Magic V, where the fireball hits an area, and that’s why I’m hitting between two soldiers. But then it wouldn’t work at all, right? And the “target” still isn’t highlighted, even if I aim at just one.
And it resets to around 2 billion if...
Or you can wait, and it will start accumulating from zero again... :)
За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
The funniest bug I've ever encountered in Heroes is when the amount of gold resets to zero. In one very long and difficult game (the map was created by some Englishman), I accumulated a lot of money. The count went into the millions, or even billions. And then, one day, after my turn, the balance became negative.
Okay, now I’ll be more careful.
Actually, this isn’t a bug at all, but rather an effect of numerical overflow, related to the limited bit depth of integers!
And the developers are not to blame here. :)
A little theory. For values such as the total amount of gold or hero experience, 4 bytes = 32 bits are allocated, so the maximum number with a sign that can fit in them is 2^31-1 = 2147483647, i.e., just over 2 billion. As soon as the number reaches this value, the sign will change (0 changes to 1 in the most significant digit), and you will have to wait for a very long time until enough money (or experience) accumulates for this number to become positive again.
For this reason, you should not be too happy if you have too much money, and especially if your hero has reached level 81 (see FizMiG, section 1.8, Dependence between Hero Level and Number of Experience Points (XP))!
I once experienced a gold overflow when I was playing samatron's map "Island of the Little Skull" (see also: /topic/7037/).
By the way, kinORnirvana, what was that map, and on which month did “the terrible thing” happen?
Another thing to watch out for, and where an overflow is quite possible, is the number of creatures in a stack: by getting carried away with necromancy, you can end up with zero skeletons after a few months! For these values, not 4, but 2 bytes are allocated, and after 65535, an overflow will occur! (This was discussed somewhere on the WoG forum recently)

There’s a bug on platinum mode where my Fireball spell doesn’t work... I cast it, it explodes, and it’s as if nothing happened, and mana is spent. And it doesn’t even deal damage.

And, by the way, this is just my personal opinion: it would be better if Sacrifice was a 4th-level spell altogether – no one would get confused or puzzled!

In the second game, the same thing happened with an overflow of money (well, you can imagine what you need to do for that :-)), and there was a funny bug there. Unlike the third game, you could "buy" a negative number of creatures. And it's funny: when hiring negative dragons, you immediately got a sum of around 30 thousand. In general, from -2 billion, the money went practically to zero and... a very large amount (obviously more than 50 thousand) of sulfur was added! :-) negative dragons - negative price)
and the main trick is that in the building where the "deed" was committed, exactly as many dragons were added as you hired with negative money.
That is, this is a recipe for 30-35 thousand dragons. :-)
As for the third game, the bugs were of all kinds, funny and not so funny. To be honest, I can't think of anything right now, but I know one thing for sure: the mutual location of some objects when creating a map can cause a bug in the game during gameplay. This happened in the Eternal Love Campaign, in the second-to-last scenario. You can try to pass it. True, the campaign is in English. The essence of the bug, to be honest, I don't remember. Many years have passed. :-)
